Aafa Antique Early Folk Art 1800 Cupboard Pie Safe Square Nails Dovetailed Paint

AAFA ANTIQUE EARLY FOLK ART 1800 CUPBOARD PIE SAFE SQUARE NAILS DOVETAILED PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive pie safe / cupboard. It’s a nice sized two door cabinet with a single drawer up above. On the sides, there are punched tins little stars on them as you can see in the pictures. They appear to be the original tins which are in good shape as you can see in the pictures but not without issues. There is a hole in the second tin on the left side. There’s some paint on the tins and some paint not on the tins. 38.75″ wide at the top by 16″ deep at the top it’s 50. It’s a wonderful Primitive red painted finish with the richness of the patina of age. The back is great looking and has stains and patina. It also has letters stenciled across the top of the back and they say “AWG”. There are square nails in the top along with rusty round nails. We took a close up picture for you. On the front, the left door has a crack / split in it in the middle and the right door has a crack / split along the right side. You can see these in the pictures. On the drawer, the left knob / pull is a mushroom style while the right one is not. There’s a little metal thumb turn on the doors and it has some marking, scarring and twisting marks from years of use. Inside there’s a latch bolt that apparently was added to keep the left door in place and then the thumb turn keeps the other door to the left door. The doors have Shaker style hinges. Inside there are three shelves which have patina and wear on them. The top is wood but is not painted. The drawers are not dovetailed. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! The cabinet has some edge wear, scrapes, scratches, chunks of wood missing, chips, patina, fading, variation of color, mouse holes, rounding, and nicks. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a great old cabinet / cupboard!! Doll House Antique Folk Art Architectural Model Wood Ooak Red White Paint Aafa

DOLL HOUSE ANTIQUE FOLK ART ARCHITECTURAL MODEL WOOD OOAK RED WHITE PAINT AAFA. Up for sale is this wonderful old antique Primitive architectural building / model or doll house. This is a 2-story wood house that has a hipped roof. The roof does not come off but the back of the house has an opening so you can get inside!! It has a wood exterior with white / and off-white paint, green trim and a red roof, columns and porch. The red paint is all crackled as you can see in the pictures. The white paint has a lot of patina / grunge as you can also see in the pictures. There are two windows on the front upstairs and one window and a door under the shed roof porch. There are also four windows on right side of the house and none on the left side of the house. On the front, the floor of the porch is the same nice oxblood red color. The windows are simple, Primitive, Craftsman-style windows with green frames. The back of the house is open for easy access as you can see in the pictures. When you look inside, you can see wires and sockets for light bulbs. We don’t know what this would have been used for, perhaps a train set? We don’t know if the lights work or not. You can also see a little stair inside from the first to the second floor. Inside the house its all open. The house does have a lot of edgewear, scrapes, chips, crackle, alligatoring, nicks, grunge, fading here and there, scuffs and chips! The edge of the roof has some dings at the corners as you can see in the pictures. The house measures 23.5″ D x 15.5″ W x 21.5 H. Thank you for looking at this item. Early Aafa Antique Folk Art Table Top Pie Safe Screened Crackle Blue Paint

EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART TABLE TOP PIE SAFE SCREENED CRACKLE GREY-BLUE PAINT. Up for sale is this nice table top pie safe. It’s old but it has likely been repainted at some point. It’s a faded / soft / grungy greyish-blue with crackle as you can see in the pictures. It measures 24.5 W x 20 D at the top x 28.5″ H at the front and 32″ H at the back. It’s a one-of-a-kind grey-blue, folksy, screened pie safe. It has one door on it with old face over hinges as you can see in the pictures. The doors work well. It has a square wooden door pull and two thumb turns. Overall the screens on the front and sides are reasonable but the front screen near the bottom is a little loose and the sides screens are a little spotted/rusty. We took a picture close-up of the left side. The grain is lifted here and there and the back is bead board. On the right side there’s a vertical piece near the back where there is a brighter and newer bit of bluer paint. Underneath it’s old wood with one board toward the back looking like it was replaced at some point. Inside there is one shelf and it is pretty clean. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust on the screens, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you’d expect to see. It’s a nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. Aafa Antique Folk Art Advertising Trade Sign Lone Star Dog Food Original Paint

AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART ADVERTISING TRADE SIGN LONE STAR DOG FOOD ORIGINAL PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful old painted metal sign. The Lone Star Dog Food Company is still in business today and started manufacturing dog food out of Texas since 1930 so obviously this sign dates between now and then. It’s old, is has tons of patina on it, as well as surface rust. This sign is a large painted metal sign. It’s red white and blue with a little yellow behind the words “dog food” in the middle. On the back of the sign there are some repairs and newer screws. On the right end (looking at the back) it’s missing one of the vertical pieces of wood. There are also a couple of newer eye hooks to hang the sign up by. This sign measures 120″ L and 18″ H. This is a great sign! Adorable Aafa Antique Folk Art Apothecary Cabinet Original Paint

ADORABLE AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART APOTHECARY CABINET ORIGINAL PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful eight-drawer apothecary cabinet. It is so amazing! Isn’t it so cute! All of the little drawers are equal sized and each has a little porcelain knob or pull. The color of the cabinet is a nice grey while the drawers are a wonderful red. Each drawer has a stenciling, or scrolling on it with the name of a spice on it. Some are more visible than others as you can see in the pictures. The others are a little harder to see. What a great look! The apothecary is 16 3/4″ H x 8-1/8″ W at the main body and 5 D at the main body. The inside of the drawers are 2-1/2″ W x 3-3/4″ D x 2-3/8 H. The top is one piece of wood and is the not painted as you can see in the pictures. The back is painted grey also. The entire cabinet has patina, grunge, marks. Paint loss, paint drips, and worn finish as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. The bottom of the cabinet has a little wood loss on the lower right front. The drawers are very clean inside and don’t have any smell or order to them. All the drawers work well. This is a very nice little apothecary cabinet! We don’t know the age of this cabinet but it looks old to us! You make the call. It is a wonderful and one of a kind item! There are nicks, scrapes, dings. Paint loss, paint drips, paint chips, and worn finish as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age.
