Marie Laveau was a free woman of color born in the French Quarter of New Orleans. I don’t have any information about this Artist, however, I believe he created a great piece of Folk Art.

4 interesting examples, circa 1940s /1950s, each approximately 8″ x 11″, watercolor on paper, all have mounted, some matted. All in good condition, some light browning from age. All have some kind of markings / signatures / titles. Told these could be early Gzhel type of Russian art.
