Antique Aafa Folk Art Wooden Milking Stool Robins Egg Blue Alligator Paint Riser

ANTIQUE AAFA FOLK ART WOODEN MILKING STOOL ROBINS EGG BLUE ALLIGATOR PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful little miking stool. It has crackly old paint, lots of patina and a great look! The step measures 12.25 L x 8.75″ W x 10″ H. It is a nice robin’s egg blue with off-white and wood undertones. There are layers of paint so it has that thick, many layers look to it. Then, there are areas where there is very little paint with wood showing and just a little paint. There are also some areas of white paint on it including some on the underside. Its a very nice decorative piece for any Primitive collection! On one side there’s a crack and it was apparently repaired with a piece of wood underneath and painted over like the rest of the stool. You can see the split in the side. Then there’s a little round wooden bar under the seat also. The top has big mortises into the side legs as you as see in the pictures. This is truly a one-of-a-kind item. We dont know the age of this item. It’s a nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Antique Aafa Folk Art Early Checkerboard Original Paint Mustard Black White

ANTIQUE AAFA FOLK ART EARLY CHECKERBOARD ORIGINAL PAINT MUSTARD WHITE BLACK. Up for sale is this old hand painted checkerboard. It has a great folk art feel to it! The board is a wonderful mustard, black and white color. It has worn edges, paint loss and hand wear. The gaming part has black /white color alternating squares. The board is a 12 x 12 game field. It appears to be made from two large pieces of wood with bread board ends. The boards have separated pretty good and you can see the seam down the middle of the checkerboard. It has old rusty round nails around the outside of the board. It measures 26.25 L x 19.75 W and is about 1.25″ thick at the edges and 2″ thick at the thickest point. There is a little wire loop on the top of the back to hang the checkerboard on the wall. You can see this in the pictures. This side also has worn edges, scrapes and hand wear. This is a very nice game board!! As mentioned, theres some edge wear, paint loss, nicks, lots of scrapes, scratches and dings. The two boards that make up the checkerboard are a little warped as they kind of hump in the middle of each board and then that creates a valley where the two boards meet in the middle. You can’t really tell when just looking at the board but when you lay it down you can see it. We tried to take a picture of this for you. These issues are just as youd expect from and item of this age. Its still just fabulous!!! Its a very nice piece for your collection. Antique folk art picture frame circa 1890. Wonderful early American folk made picture frame in it’s original painted finish. Charming stepped concentric circles elements and miniature pointed turned finials at corners. The original paint is nicely worn and has a great antique patina. Well constructed with overlapped joints and through-dowel finials. A very special and early frame with tremendous folk art appeal. Would make a great mirror or frame for an early sampler or artwork. DIMENSIONS: 21″H x 16.5″W overall; 13.5″ x 9.5″ site size; fits 14″ x 10″. CONDITION: good and sturdy with minor antique wear to finish as shown, one missing/broken off finial bottom right corner as shown. I have several early frames listed – see our other items. Early Antique Folk Art Aafa Wash / Plant Stand Bucket Bench Table Original Paint

EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART AAFA WASH / PLANT STAND FOLDING TABLE ORIGINAL RED PAINT. Up for sale is this amazing old wash stand, plant stand or folding table. We’re not sure what it might have been used for but we are sure that it’s unique and beautiful! This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! 47″ L x 16 1/2″ W at the base of the legs by 19 H. It’s a rare, one-of-a-kind white low folding table or stand of some sort. It may have been a wash stand. It has splayed legs that fold out with little wood turns that hold the legs in place. Then the legs can be folded in and it condenses down. It doesn’t lay completely flat but it is close. In the top, on either the left or right board, there’s a handle cut out. This is to carry it by when it’s folded down. It’s very handy! The top boards are 2.75″ W x almost 1″ thick!! It’s a wonderful and nice red color and it appears to be the original paint. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, old paint, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Aafa Antique Folk Art Apothecary Cabinet Old White Paint Make-do Drawers Wood

ADORABLE AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART APOTHECARY CABINET OLD WHITE PAINT MAKE-DO. Up for sale is this wonderful six-drawer apothecary cabinet. Isn’t it so cute! It has six equal sized drawers. The color of the cabinet is a nice white, it may have been painted in its lifetime but the paint still looks old. Each drawer has a little staple / metal pull. 23.5 W x 13 D without the knobs x 8 H. It’s a nice little size! The cabinet it made from plywood and is probably a “make do” cabinet from the Depression Era or between there and WWII. The top is one piece of wood and it doesn’t quite go all the way to the back of the cabinet as you can see in the close-up picture. This may have been done to make more than one of these together a stackable item. The entire cabinet has patina, marks. Paint loss, and worn finish as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. The bottom of the cabinet has a little wood loss on the lower right front. The drawers are very clean inside and don’t have any smell or order to them. All the drawers work but a couple of them do stick a little. This is a very nice little apothecary cabinet! We don’t know the age of this cabinet but it looks old to us! You make the call. It is a wonderful and one of a kind item! There are nicks, scrapes, dings. Paint loss, paint chips, and worn finish as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. We will do our best to answer your questions. Aafa Early Folk Art Antique Cabinet Cupboard Old Red Grey Paint Square Nails

AAFA EARLY FOLK ART ANTIQUE CABINET CUPBOARD OLD RED GREY PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful old wall cabinet or cupboard. It’s a wonderful grey / red color. It has a single door and scroll top. There are Shaker style hinges and a wooden thumb-turn spin latch. The cabinet measures 27.25 H to the main part of the cabinet and 31 H to the top of the scroll top x 19 W x 10.25 D. There is a large hole in the scroll top probably from where it was hung on the wall. The cabinet is old, but we don’t know how old. It does have square nails in the back and we took a picture of some of them for you. They are all rusty but some of the nails are round also. The paint is old and crackled with grey on top with red and wood color undertones. The back of the cupboard is wood and it made from two pieces of wood (or one split one) and the gap between the two sides is pretty obvious as you can see in the pictures. Inside there are two shelves, three sections total. The inside is painted the similar grey with stains, streaks, edgewear, patina and obvious wear from use and age. Please see the photos for an accurate detail and description. The pictures are pretty good for the color, especially the close up ones. It’s a nice old cupboard!! The paint has some edge wear, scrapes, patina, fading, variation of color, chipping, crackling, chips and nicks. Thank you for looking at this item. Let us know if you have any questions.
