Has recaptured his own life experiences growing up in the rural eastern shore of Maryland in the 1930’s and 1940’s as a young migrant laborer. Born in a labor camp in 1932, self-taught artist Alphonso Willums painted his experiences growing up in the 1930’s and 1940s. Willums’ art is owned and exhibited by the Maryland Historical Society, Universities, and Restaurants, but it was largely a cathartic activity he was reluctant to commercialize. Artist signed original oil painting on 12″ x 16″ canvas wrapped panel, canvas size fits ready-made frames – no need for custom framing.

Fairly Priced to Sell. 25″ x 31″ x 3. Description: This naïf work by Simon Zoto depicts a New England village with a large red schoolhouse as the focal point of the painting. It is painted in the primitive style of an untrained artist with the buildings and trees reduced to an almost pictographic representation. Surrounding the schoolhouse are a number of traditional clapboard houses as well as a large barn-like structure with trees in the background. He always worked in the primitive or naïf style, always painting scenes of New England in a simpler time.

Racing Yacht “America” – 1851. An original oil painting by Pennsylvania artist David Young. The “America” was a 19th century racing yacht and the first winner of what was to become known as the America’s Cup, named after its first winner. She was eventually scrapped and burned in 1945. Such was her fame, that parts of her were salvaged and preserved by the New York Yacht Club. These included her transom eagle, rudder post and one of her masts. Painting is in oil on gessoed 300 lb Arches paper.

View Artwork in own Page. The Yacht “Henrietta” Built and launched in Brooklyn, NY in 1861 as a pleasure yacht, she was acquired by the Union Navy during the Civil War. After patrolling Long Island waters she was armed and reassigned to South Carolina where she was used to support the fleet blocking Confederate ports. After the war and upon regaining her pleasure craft status in 1861, she participated in what was then referred to as “The Great Ocean Yacht Race” and which she won after a fourteen day crossing from New York to to the Isle of Wight. In 1872 she was lost in a gale off the coast of Honduras. My painting of the Henrietta is in watercolor and gouache on 300 lb. The painting is matted. Sight size is 7″ x 10″ with the outer dimensions of the mat being 11″ x 14″ (a stock frame size).

Signature Cat graffiti character. And Obese PUKE throw up on canvas. Spray paint and Acrylic. One of a Kind Hand Created. Extra special because it fell over when it was wet. And I stepped on it… So you get a nice shoe print. PUKE was a well known street Artist in new york in the 90s along with Arizona and California you couldn’t turn a corner without seeing a tag, sticker slap, or throw up. Now that he is retired his work is getting harder and harder to find in the wild but finally has time to just sit down and do what he loves best which is just create. Doesn’t matter if it’s a painting sticker spray can sculpture junkart or creepy teddy bears he does it all. Painting does look just like the pictures. Again Carefully review before purchasing. Not a fan of anything perfect most of the art has imperfections on purpose. I want it to feel created not manufactured. They are painted outside so there’s a chance of Debris and animal hair on rare occasions being in the paint surface. Any questions feel free to a.

It is in its original packaging and has never been used. This bold graphic figure looks amazing in its vibrant colors. Rich blue, orange, yellow, pink, gold, brown and black palette. Great for wall display or framing. Unique retro folk art vibe. I have 2 of these of this size, both are different but pair great together.
