John Dunn Signed Folk Art Hand Painted Tole Tin Pear Grapes Lidded Canister
Wonderful hand painted folk art tin by artist John Dunn. This decorative metal canister features a warm rust red and black finish with hand painted pears, green grapes, leaves and delicate decorative accents. The artwork continues around the canister and onto the lid. The bottom is signed by the artist. This piece has a beautiful aged folk art appearance and displays very well. There is paint loss around the lid as shown in the photo. Please see all photos closely, as they are an important part of the condition description. I was so proud to come home with this treasure and have enjoyed it all of these years! But now it is time to share. A wonderful piece for a John Dunn collection, American folk art collection, primitive decor or country kitchen display.

Thank you for visiting my gallery. Every painting I create is an original, one-of-a-kind work of art, individually hand painted in my Western New York studio using acrylics on stretched canvas or professional grade paper. No prints or reproductions-just authentic, original artwork created one brushstroke at a time. My work explores a wide range of subjects, from wildlife, landscapes, city scenes, and music to classic automobiles, pop culture, abstract compositions, and imaginative storytelling. While the subjects vary, each painting reflects my passion for bold color, expressive brushwork, and strong visual design. My goal is simple: to create original artwork that is both distinctive and affordable. I believe original paintings should be accessible to everyone, whether you’re starting an art collection, searching for a unique gift, or adding a one-of-a-kind piece to your home or office. This is an original one-of-a-kind painting. It is not a print or reproduction. Size: 11 x 14 inches. Medium: Acrylic on canvas. Finish: Hand painted on stretched canvas. Signature: Signed on the front. This is an original one-of-a-kind painting, not a print or reproduction. Frame IS NOT included. Professional custom framing available. Frame is black wood with a sleek, modern finish. Thank you for supporting original artwork from Brickhouse Studio.

Welcome to my art store, where you can find unique and original artworks that will brighten up your space and spark your imagination. Whether you are looking for a painting, a drawing, a collage, or a sculpture, you will find something that suits your taste and budget as I have been painting for more than 3 years and I have a large collection of paintings of various themes. My arts are made with love and passion, and I hope they will bring you joy and inspiration. Browse through my collection and discover the beauty of art. Thank you for supporting a small artist! Dimension/ Size: 12″x 12″. Surface: Gesso Primed Canvas. Varnishing: After the painting process is done and dried fully, I have applied fine oil paint varnish on the top of the painting, which mainly gives the protection to the painting and additionally gives it a little gloss! There might be small changes in the color, and details as the screen and camera effects, but 99% of the whole painting and the vibe is the same! Actually this is my personal favorite painting. Since the childhood, I have been painting for fun, for friends and for completions. I just enjoyed the process, and after my Advanced level examinations I jumped to full time painting until my university begins, I used to earn from it. Now the university has begun and I spend nearly 2-3 hours per day on my arts, as it helps me to prevent from ultimate university stress and earn on my own. I work with oil paints, acrylic paints, water colors, color pencils as well as oil pastels. You can see variety of my artworks in this small online store, and each one has a story behind it! Now I have been earning from painting for nearly 3 years, but if my loving parents and customers were not with me, I couldn’t do it like this. I don’t want to disappoint any of you and that’s something I consider as my main responsibility. That’s why you should read this description, and the story behind the name, and about the artist I’ve explained. If it is an original painting, I will wrap it with a polythene layer with a special hand written note on it. Polythene layer to avoid water and humidity, and the note is to send my love for supporting this artist! And then to a bubble wrap to avoid shocks and falls. Then a final cardboard wrap and addressing. Then straight to the post office! Wrapping is done in Friday afternoons with my family. So, I can Be hurry with your order. It costs no more additional charges. It may take 4- 5 weeks to arrive to USA. Usually it takes 3 weeks, but the country situation is causing few delays. After it arrives to your hands, open it and enjoy it. If you are happy and satisfied with it, please let me know and add feedback to me. If you are unhappy, with a certain fair reason, I’m glad to hear that too and provide you a satisfying solution. Happy shopping and happy creating!

Miniature Antique Folk Art Building Painted Wooden Schoolhouse Penny Bank 1920's
Offered is a miniature antique folk art building in the form of an old country Schoolhouse. The building is a coin bank, dating circa the 1920’s-1930’s. It is made of painted pine with glassed interior, and measures approximately 10″ tall at the coin-drop, 5.75″ wide at the roofline, and 9.5 long, from the front steps to the two-holer outhouse door with painted crescent moon. Condition is good, as shown, having some wear and soiling commensurate with age. The plug on the bottom of the bank is missing, as is some of the wooden window framing. There is also some paint wear and loss. The bank goes “ding” when you drop a penny in the slot. Please contact me if you’d like more info.

Hand painted OOAK Modern Appalachian Folk Art The Greeting cat painting feline
Emerging from the shadows, this cat has meandered through a sun drenched garden to say hello. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of piqued interest expressed by a beautiful creature, and this friend is curious to know all about where you have been and what you have done. Sized two feet by three feet, this painting is perfect for an entryway, end of hall or unexpected nook. The thick, impasto texture of this piece will perfectly capture the changing light of day to make it settle into any setting effortlessly. The cat is rendered in low relief, giving an emergent, lifelike quality to the image. This cat almost demands a boop to the nose in recognition! Bring this moment of connection to your space, it’s a wonderful conversation starter and an arresting focal point. The mind wanders and the eyes are saturated in warm, electric tones and sensual texture. Is this feline the companion you have been missing?

Painted Dog House (Wood, Paint, Shingles). H x 37″ L x 24″ W Weight: 50-60 lbs. No apparent damage or restoration. Earl King Swanigan was born on January 14, 1964, in Columbus, Mississippi, to Collier and Lorine Swanigan. Earl was a constant presence on the streets of Hudson, NY. Often seen carrying a found piece of plywood or piece of furniture that he would peddle to store fronts and to pedestrians who might pass by one of the outdoor places he would set up shop on the sidewalks of the city. Earl became a regular visitor to places like TSL, where Claudia Bruce would print images for him to use in his work – Obama, Marilyn Monroe, Mohammed Ali, and many others. Claudia and Earl discovered that they were both born in northeast Mississippi and both migrated north to pursue a life of art. Not without his share of controversy, Earl was a passionate artist with an expansive output of work. His spirit lingers in Hudson’s rowdy, often chaotic, and, sometimes, general dysfunction. Self taught, Earl had a great fondness for animals. Most of his pieces are painted on found wood and with household paints. His work is featured in magazines, blogs, videos and newspapers including the New York Times. Even though his works are in a medium and style not associated with the modern world, his “in your face nature” and down to earth charm have made him an artistic force in the world of contemporary outsider art. Earl died on January 5, 2019, at Berkley Medical Center, in West Virginia.
