Antique dated 1859 original folk art watercolor and ink motto artwork reading. “Be Patient With the Little Ones”. This charming mid-19th century hand-rendered piece features delicate botanical vines, grape clusters, woodland scenery, and two lambs beneath illuminated-style lettering. The work has a soft naïve folk art quality with beautifully aged paper tones and hand-painted detail throughout. The lower portion appears faintly dated “Jan 1859, ” suggesting this is an authentic Victorian-era sentimental or nursery motto artwork rather than a later reproduction. Housed in its black painted wooden frame under glass with hanging loops present on the reverse. A wonderfully decorative piece for primitive, cottagecore, Victorian, or early Americana interiors. 15.5″ tall x 14″ wide x 3 deep. Condition: Frame shows age-related wear and surface marks consistent with age, but nothing alarming. Artwork retains beautiful antique character with toning and fading appropriate for a piece of this era. Glass front in good condition. A charming piece of primitive Americana, this painting on wood mushroom is of the Neversink area near the Catskills Mountains of New York State. The painting features a farm house surrounded by lovely gardens with a pedestrian passing along the road in front. Stone walls lead to a creek with ducks and a pedestrian bridge. A haystack sits in the background. At the bottom, the artist has written Neversink 1908. The texture of the mushroom is a nice addition to the dimensionality of the artist’s work. It’s 16″ at its widest and about 8″ tall. There is some chipping along the edge, as well as some wear to the paint on the high spots of the mushroom, as shown in the photos. Up for sale is this nice still life painting likely American of a glass of wine on a dish with sugar cubes and lemon. Along with a spoon laid along the table. This painting has a great folky appeal and is housed in a later gilt frame. The panting is signed W B. Willer or Wilner although it could also be something else. The painting appears to be canvas laid on a board and has some areas of minor paint loss and surface wear. The frame does have some missing chunks although still presents well. Please see all photos as they are apart of the description. Dimensions Overall are roughly 14 3/4″ by 18 3/4″ and the painting is roughly 15″ by 11″.

Needs a frame has some paint loos in a few spots. But paint is stable not flaking. The fourth picture is of the back side of painting. If you need more pictures let me know.
