Jim Shore SANTA’S WORKSHOP with Santa Elves Full 4 Piece Set – Enesco #4008233. This complete set of 4 features the workshop with paints and tools and mini Jim Shore items. Santa is working at his workbench painting a toy soldier with an elf holding his paint pallet. The other 2 pieces are 2 other elves, one standing and playing with a marionette and the other sitting on a bench and sewing a doll’s dress. Dated 2007, this is a Jim Shore Heartwood Creek item licensed by Enesco. The original box and packaging are included. The box is in pretty good condition besides some wear and staining that comes with age. The set is in great like new, open box condition. No chips, cracks or defects in the figures or workshop. The workshop piece measures about 12 inches long by about 11.75 inches tall by about 2 inches deep. The figure of Santa at his workbench measures 7.75 inches tall by 5 7/8 inches wide by 5 inches deep. The elf with the marionette measures about 6 inches tall and the base measures 2.75 inches wide by 3.5 inches long. The seated elf holds a needle with lavender thread as he adds details to a beautiful doll. He measures about 5.25 inches tall and the base measures 3 inches square. The trio appear to be tracking a scent, with all heads pointed left and all tails pointed out. While they are unnamed/unidentified by the artist, they appear to be spaniels that specialize in bird hunting. The work is oil on canvas and is unframed. 20.25 inches tall by 30 inches wide. Condition : Typical surface craquelure. Scattered small paint losses, primarily along the perimeter of the work. Scattered inpainting, primarily beneath the bottom dog and along bottom edge. Vintage Romanian Folk Art. Woman Spinning Wool Yarn. This great little folk art painting shows a woman in traditional garb hand-spinning wool yarn. The painting viewing area is 9″ x 9″, and with the frame measures 11″ x 11″. Condition-wise, there is a little paint worn off on her dress up near the waist. That is the only minor blemish to the painting. The frame shows some wear along the outer edges. Please see photos for details. Enjoy more photos of this and our other items at. The painting is done in wonderful warm shades of yellow and brown. The painting is mounted in a brown, slightly distressed looking wooden frame. A name in the lower right states the artist was Corine Ionita, and in the lower left is the date of 1976. The receipt is attached to the back, as well various government stamps. We can see the receipt was issued by’Galerie de Arts’, in Bucharest, Romania, in September 1976. The Galerie de Arts is a world-renowned art emporium in Bucharest featuring many works by Romanian artists. This is a great example of Romanian reverse glass folk art from 44 years ago. With its beauty and charming appeal, this wonderful painting would warm any space it was placed in! The painting is described as objectively as possible. Hand painted Pin-Up Trench Folk Art Military Canvas Duffle Bag WWII Navy Vintage There are 20 photos of the item below. The drawing on the bag is about 15 tall. Measures about 20″ across and about 32″-33 tall. I show photos of the bag inside out, there is some rope stitched around the bottom seam, it’s just hanging loose, the seams are solid so I have no idea what that rope is supposed to be. The top has metal grommets (and no draw string), one side of the bag has some blue stitching on either side of the seam. Heavy canvas type material. Exterior shows extensive soiling and stains, no physical damage like tears or holes that I could find. I don’t know if the image is waterproof (but assume it is not), it looks like it could be india ink or something similar. — See photos for condition details. — I don’t have a way to arrange for a local pick-up of this item, I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
