Mexico Folk Art Luis Vilchis Illegal Alien Finds Water In Desert Ex Voto Retablo
This is a poignant ex voto imported from Mexico City where it was made by Luis Vilchis of the famous retablero family. It has been hand painted on tin as is traditional and features the image of a parched illegal alien finding a water cache in the desert. There is an image of the Virgin Of Guadalupe above and the writing thanks her for saving his life. This work is signed by Luis and measures approximately 12″ in height by 10″ in width.
