An interesting and unusual 19th century oil on canvas depicting a view of The Tower of London from the River Thames. With several figures in 19th century dress on the south bank and with a Royal Barge and a three-masted gunship and other vessels on the river and the Tower of London in the background. Antique folk art hanging wall cupboard, early crusty paint (Santos display)

An base salmon, and and overlying deep green/blue. Measuring 20 3/4″ h x 16 3/4″ w x 9 deep, the condition of the painted surface is illustrated by the two images in picture #6. She is not however without some apologies. Most importantly, the base trim on both sides is replaced… See my last picture. The glass is also a replacement and may have originally held a mirror. There is also the shadow of a missing block at the top board, but what purpose that served is unknown. Since there is no interior shelf (and there never has been), it is possible that this cupboard was originally intended to display a Mexican Santos.. But that’s merely speculation on my part. B – Mid 20th Century Pastel, At Home With Flowers. A charmingly naive style interior scene in pastel showing a woman sitting at a table with a vase of red flowers. The artist has initiated to the lower left and the drawing has been presented in a textured gilt frame. The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Antique Wood Carousel Style Rocking Horse Folk Art Hand Painted Leather Toy VTG

Offering this beautiful old folk art wooden horse. It is styled in the way of an antique carousel horse but is more of a traditional rocking horse size. There are some small holes on the bottom, presumably from posts, and I have a handful of metal and wood pieces (handles and stirrups, presumably), but no base. The saddle parts are felt, the ears and reins are leather, and the mane and tail are fine yarn. It has age-related wear as shown including splits in the wood where the legs meet the main body of the horse, spotting on the legs/flanks, and natural age-related deterioration to the felt. This displays very handsomely as-is but could also make a nice restoration project. Great colors for use as holiday decor! Measures about 19″ long across the body, 35″ long from the front to back hooves, and 20 tall.
