An base salmon, and and overlying deep green/blue. Measuring 20 3/4″ h x 16 3/4″ w x 9 deep, the condition of the painted surface is illustrated by the two images in picture #6. She is not however without some apologies. Most importantly, the base trim on both sides is replaced… See my last picture. The glass is also a replacement and may have originally held a mirror. There is also the shadow of a missing block at the top board, but what purpose that served is unknown. Since there is no interior shelf (and there never has been), it is possible that this cupboard was originally intended to display a Mexican Santos.. But that’s merely speculation on my part. B – Mid 20th Century Pastel, At Home With Flowers. A charmingly naive style interior scene in pastel showing a woman sitting at a table with a vase of red flowers. The artist has initiated to the lower left and the drawing has been presented in a textured gilt frame. The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The frame has minor losses to the gilt. Size: 22.6 x 32.6cm (8.9″ x 12.8″). Framed Size: 30.4 x 39.9cm (12″ x 15.7″). Includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
