Jim Shore SANTA’S WORKSHOP with Santa Elves Full 4 Piece Set – Enesco #4008233. This complete set of 4 features the workshop with paints and tools and mini Jim Shore items. Santa is working at his workbench painting a toy soldier with an elf holding his paint pallet. The other 2 pieces are 2 other elves, one standing and playing with a marionette and the other sitting on a bench and sewing a doll’s dress. Dated 2007, this is a Jim Shore Heartwood Creek item licensed by Enesco. The original box and packaging are included. The box is in pretty good condition besides some wear and staining that comes with age. The set is in great like new, open box condition. No chips, cracks or defects in the figures or workshop. The workshop piece measures about 12 inches long by about 11.75 inches tall by about 2 inches deep. The figure of Santa at his workbench measures 7.75 inches tall by 5 7/8 inches wide by 5 inches deep. The elf with the marionette measures about 6 inches tall and the base measures 2.75 inches wide by 3.5 inches long. The seated elf holds a needle with lavender thread as he adds details to a beautiful doll. He measures about 5.25 inches tall and the base measures 3 inches square. Antique Victorian Full Length Family Portrait Folk Art Silhouette Painting c1840
You are viewing a n antique early Victorian painted silhouette of a large family 11 including the dog/pony! I would estimate it was painted sometime around 1840. This silhouette is one of three all from the same source, and all three were painted on card on the back of an old print. It also looks like all three silhouettes were framed at some point as they show evidence of yellowing where a frame once displayed them. This silhouette measures approximately 4 1/4 inches by 8 inches and has been matted in a modern mat which measures 6 1/2 by 9 1/4 inches. It is in great condition with no tears or holes. Some minor yellowing to the card where it was once framed. All items I sell are fully guaranteed to be as I have described them. Most of my auctions are listed with no reserve. Lovely Mocambo circle skirt Hecho en Mexico perfect for Viva Las Vegas coming up! Wrap belt with hook and eye closures. Abstract floral pattern painted in earth tones (brown Burnt orange and cream). Stiff sturdy barkcloth / rough woven cotton. Marked 14 – that’s a 28 inch waist, though it could be made a little smaller or bigger by moving the hooks and eyes. Condition very good – some small marks on waistband that are hidden when belt is wrapped. One small whitish mark shown in photo next to quarter. Antique Victorian Cottage Painted Double Full Bed American Country Folk Art. Antique Victorian Neo-Grec Solid Pine Full Double Bed circa 1865-75. Wonderful big arched crest on headboard and footboard and adorned by large oval Racetrack painted center panels and raised Black Walnut Architectural Relief. The headboard rest between two Gothic spires and the foot board features curved, rounded ends with a corbel facing the inside. Original matching side rails with great curvaceous flared ends. Incredible original grain painted wood grains and a solid substantial bed of quality craftsmanship, it has all the quality and beauty of the Victorian era. Victorian cottage furniture was made between 1850 and 1880. Cottage furniture, also known as country furniture, was often painted and decorated with hand-painted details. Overall measurements: 80 long x 56 1/2 wide. Takes a full/double mattress size. Condition: This is a vintage piece and as such displays a mild level of wear from age. 19th Century Folk Art Painted Carved Wood Full Bodied Running Horse Weathervane
We are offering an original American. 19th century folk art painted and hand carved wood full bodied running horse weathervane. Stands 18″ tall x 22 1/2″ long at the most extreme points, with a maximum width of 2 1/4. We found this great old piece in a longtime collector’s estate in Los Angeles; we were told by the family that he bought it at an Americana Antiques show from a folk art dealer years ago, but we have no other information available. In very good condition. The traces of white and brown paint appear to be all original. Light overall wear commensurate with age. There is one 3/4″ x 1 1/4″ surface gouge to the left upper hind quarter section The lower part of the back right leg has been broken and is missing. Originally had a mane and tail.
