A very attractive primitive Amish scene done with oil paints on Masonite Board by George Kraus titled “Ready for the Market”. Measures 17 1/2″ X 24″ sight and with vintage wooden frame 21″ X 27 1/2″. Signed lower left G. Has a old label from the prestigious ACA Gallery which at the time was located at 63 East 57th Street in New York City. Label has Artists name with titled of the painting and the Medium used. ACA gallery is still in business but at a different local in NYC. I would estimate this to be from the early 1960s. Both painting and frame are in nice vintage condition.
