A very nice antique folk art painting circa 1835-40 of a. Child (I think girl but could be a boy) standing outside with a rabbit in her hands, a rabbit inside a box, a dog outside the dog house and a piece of cabbage for feeding the rabbits. It is signed (what looks like) S Andrews. It is a wonderful painting, frame. About 30″ x 25 5/8″ and the image shown is about 23 /12″ x 19 1/4″. The wood frame has a burl wood veneer. Excellent antique condition considering age. Normal wear, no tears or repairs noted. Would benefit from a cleaning. Frame has some minor losses.
