Almarie was a famous Louisiana folk artist for about 35 years and had her own gallery in the French Quarter. This is a smaller painting that she normally did measuring 4×5 and frame measures 4 3/4 x 5 3/4.

Beautiful Hand Painted Artists Signed, Little Girl with Lace, Wall Art. Large hand painted Oil Painting signed by I believe, Jan Shields in 1998. The picture is of a sweet colonial girl dressed in lace dress and bonnet. The style is very primitive / folk / americana. The frame is wood and hand painted as well. The photos and video do not reflect the beauty of the art piece. This piece measures 28 x 21 x 1 This lovely wall art is in very good vintage condition and ready to hang. The backing is in brown paper with a metal hook. I didn’t see any damage to note. Please note the photos and video for more details about the condition. Truly a Beautiful piece of Primitive American Art!

Little was a listed American Folk Artist known for her Black Heritage Art. Painting measures approx 10×8. Frame measures 15″x13″. No date, but likely late 1980’s. Very good condition overall. I also have 2 other Little original oils, including one very large (for her) and a smaller one of Royal St. The rear of the art has details of this work, her business card, and more info on Little.
