This is a Medium size Retablo and an original Painting from Cusco Peru, done in the 17th century Baroque “Cusco School” Style. The painting is in the middle and a large wood frame heavenly covered in Silver tone Milagros. This image is of the Mexico’s Patron Saint Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. Despite the painting coming from Peru, the wood retablo and decorative boarder was made in Patzcuaro Michoacan where the painting was incorporated into this nicho.
