This is a fabulous portrait painting of a child. The child is radiant with red hair and white dress set against a dark background, and holding a single pink rose. Doll House Antique Folk Art Architectural Model Wood Ooak Red White Paint Aafa

DOLL HOUSE ANTIQUE FOLK ART ARCHITECTURAL MODEL WOOD OOAK RED WHITE PAINT AAFA. Up for sale is this wonderful old antique Primitive architectural building / model or doll house. This is a 2-story wood house that has a hipped roof. The roof does not come off but the back of the house has an opening so you can get inside!! It has a wood exterior with white / and off-white paint, green trim and a red roof, columns and porch. The red paint is all crackled as you can see in the pictures. The white paint has a lot of patina / grunge as you can also see in the pictures. There are two windows on the front upstairs and one window and a door under the shed roof porch. There are also four windows on right side of the house and none on the left side of the house. On the front, the floor of the porch is the same nice oxblood red color. The windows are simple, Primitive, Craftsman-style windows with green frames. The back of the house is open for easy access as you can see in the pictures. When you look inside, you can see wires and sockets for light bulbs. We don’t know what this would have been used for, perhaps a train set? We don’t know if the lights work or not. You can also see a little stair inside from the first to the second floor. Inside the house its all open. The house does have a lot of edgewear, scrapes, chips, crackle, alligatoring, nicks, grunge, fading here and there, scuffs and chips! The edge of the roof has some dings at the corners as you can see in the pictures. The house measures 23.5″ D x 15.5″ W x 21.5 H. Thank you for looking at this item. Early Aafa Antique Folk Art Table Top Pie Safe Screened Crackle Blue Paint

EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART TABLE TOP PIE SAFE SCREENED CRACKLE GREY-BLUE PAINT. Up for sale is this nice table top pie safe. It’s old but it has likely been repainted at some point. It’s a faded / soft / grungy greyish-blue with crackle as you can see in the pictures. It measures 24.5 W x 20 D at the top x 28.5″ H at the front and 32″ H at the back. It’s a one-of-a-kind grey-blue, folksy, screened pie safe. It has one door on it with old face over hinges as you can see in the pictures. The doors work well. It has a square wooden door pull and two thumb turns. Overall the screens on the front and sides are reasonable but the front screen near the bottom is a little loose and the sides screens are a little spotted/rusty. We took a picture close-up of the left side. The grain is lifted here and there and the back is bead board. On the right side there’s a vertical piece near the back where there is a brighter and newer bit of bluer paint. Underneath it’s old wood with one board toward the back looking like it was replaced at some point. Inside there is one shelf and it is pretty clean. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust on the screens, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you’d expect to see. It’s a nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. This is a bold and colorful, hand-painted pottery piece from Mexico. It is a lovely tree of life (arbol de vida) candle holder, complete with Adam and Eve and the serpent. Made in Acatlan, Mexico in the polychrome (painted pottery) style. Lots of detail and work involved in all the hand formed leaves and flowers and figures. The pieces are all fired in outdoor kilns, painted and then attached to the tree form. The candle portion will hold 3/4 tapers. It measures 11 1/2″ tall by 14 x 4″.
