9″ tall x 11.75″ long x 1/2 thick. There is a date on the back of 1923. The frame is in rough shape… Taped together & falling apart. Glass front to frame present. I have NOT removed the picture from the frame, did not want to damage it further. The picture is either hand drawn, OR oil painting or similar. No name /artist signature… Does resemble ERNST HUBER VILLAGE IN WINTER WATERCOLOR ON PAPER?? The frame & picture/painting has water damage, & are both in serious need of assistance. I woukd Love this to find a new home where it can be salvaged, loved, adored, & brought back to its former glory.

WILLIE WHITE FOLK ART PAINTING TWO RED HORSES ON PAPER #316. This painting is a folk art piece by Willie White , a New Orlean’s FOLK ARTIST. MARKER ON POSTER BOARD. Willie White’s WORK HAS BEEN SHOWN IN NEW YORK AND ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. Willie White was born in 1910 in Natchez, Louisiana, but traveled to New Orleans in 1929. Shortly after he began waiting tables, a profession he held for almost 20 years. He became interested in painting and soon his subjects became fantastic prehistoric birds, alligators, dragons and flying horses. His creatures began appearing in intricate geometric patterns, and his compositions became filled with bright marker color, a medium which he began to work exclusively in after the late 1960s. Willie White passed away on Dec. Still, his good natured gentleness continues to live in the rich body of work that is represented in galleries from New York to Paris. Original 1955 PAINTING FOLK ART 2 MEN HORSES DANCING PHYSICIANS HINDU MYTHOLOGY

Extremely unusual and spectacularly wonderful original 1955 folk art painting depicting two men with horses heads dancing. This painting measures 28″ by 22″ and is painted on an embossed pattern paperboard. It is entitled below: HINDUS MYTHS TWIN ASHVINS PHYSICIANS GODS. It is signed lower right: Norman A Beyerlin February 28 1955 Anderson, Indiana. So I would call this an American folk art rendition of Hindu mythology. The two figures are twin brothers, Ashwini or Ashvin physicians. The two figures are doctors to the Gods in Hindu mythology. With any subject ever in the history of world painting! The painting is in good condition but does have a few small areas of damage and some light spotting and discoloration. None of the damage is enough to detract much from this work. I bought this piece probably 20 years ago out here in the Northwest US with no idea how it arrived here. I put this trim vintage frame around it but this wild thing could be framed all kinds of glorious ways. Questions always welcome and thanks for looking.
