(Borah Tribesman) At the time, the artist was actively working on the piece by hand using handmade painting materials/tools and paint. The artist was painting this exact river scene while we were in the area. The boat depicted in the artwork resembled the boat we arrived on. The River is the Amazon as well as the Rainforest. Signed by the artist in the lower left corner. Features a detailed Amazon rainforest scene including: Large parrot/macaw River landscape Jungle foliage Dolphins They were Pink, Albino Dolphins in that region of the Amazon River at the time. They have since migrated. Birds and hut scene Approximate Size: 25″ x 33″ Condition: Unframed with wear from age/storage including waviness, edge wear, small marks, tack/pin holes around the borders, and general cosmetic wear consistent with age and travel/storage. Please review photos carefully for overall condition. Due to the delicate unframed nature of the artwork, additional close-up/detail photos are available upon request. Oil or acrylic on stretched canvas 16″ x 20″. Frame 22″ x 18″. Age foxing to reverse. The four corners crudely taped on reverse.
