DOLL HOUSE ANTIQUE FOLK ART ARCHITECTURAL MODEL WOOD OOAK GREEN WHITE PAINT AAFA. Up for sale is this wonderful old antique Primitive architectural building / model or doll house. This is a 2-story wood house that has a gable roof. It’s sort of a single story with an attic conversion because there’s a window in the attic space. The roof comes off as you can see in the pictures! We think the exterior and roof is made of asphalt shingles. The walls are green and the roof is red. The trim is wood and it’s painted white. The paint is all peeled, aged and worn as you can see in the pictures. The paint has a lot of age to it as you can see in the pictures. There are two windows on the upstairs / attic area, one on the front of the house and one at the back of the house. There’s also a front and back door and they work. At the front there’s a porch and two windows under the porch. The front door works but is not painted. There are also four windows on left side of the house and three on the right side of the house. All of the windows have glass in them which is unusual for an old house like this. On the front, the floor of the porch is a nice weathered wood. The house does have a lot of edgewear, scrapes, chips, crackle, alligatoring, nicks, grunge, fading here and there, scuffs and chips! The front gable of the roof has a piece of roofing missing as you can see in the pictures. The house measures 29″ D x 20″ W x 24 H. Thank you for looking at this item. EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART STAVED WOOD FIRKIN ORIGINAL GREEN PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful old firkin!! Some people call them sap buckets, pantry boxes, flour buckets or grain measures!! This one has a nice worn deep green sides with black bands! This firkin measure is about. 10.75 in dia at bottom x 9.25 in dia at top and about. 10 h to the firkin and 11.25 h with knob. This firkin is a nice size and is big in character!! The firkin has three bands, one around the bottom, one in the middle and one band around the top of the firkin. Inside, it’s clean for its age and has some staining as you can see. There is not odor to it. The lid it heavy and has more paint loss than the sides of the firkin. The knob is white and is porcelain. The lid is heavy. The firkin has a bale wire and a wooden handle as you can see in the pictures. There’s a little wear spot under where the wood handle comes down on the outside of the green. On the outside is has some areas of paint loss and wear with dry paint, edgewear, streaks, paint loss, paint chips, nicks. There is a lot of edgewear around the bottom of the firkin. EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART WOOD FIRKIN ORIGINAL SAGE GREEN PAINT PANTRY BOX. Up for sale is this wonderful old firkin!! Some people call them sap buckets, pantry boxes, flour buckets or grain measures!! This one has a nice old sage / light olive green color to it!! It has what appears to be its original paint. This firkin measure is about 12. In diameter at the bottom and 10.5″ in diameter at the lid and 12″ high. This firkin is a nice size and is big in character!! The firkin has three bands around the bottom and two bands around the top of the firkin. The bands around the bottom are overlap bands and we don’t see any nails. There is one band around the lid also and it has small round nails that are dark. We don’t know if those are copper nails or metal, we’re not sure. Inside, it’s clean for its age and has some staining of green and purple as you can see. We’re not sure what that was about. The inside has a slight hickory or wood smell to it. On the outside is has some light fading, dry paint, edgewear, streaks, paint loss, paint chips, drips, nicks, staining. The paint on the wood knobs that hold the handle has alligatoring on it. The wood handle works nicely and the paint is mostly worn off. The lid rocks a little when on the firkin as the lid is just slightly warped but still fits nicely. Antique 1880’s New England Early American Folk Art Child’s Sled. The Fantastic Early American Folk Art Child’s Sled is painted Red with Yellow Pin Striping & White Daisy Style Flowers. In the center are Two (2) Birds sitting on a Branch with Cherries. The Sled is Oak with Metal Runners over an Oak Framework. The Side Boards are Pegged. Don’t miss the chance to own this fantastic example of Early American Folk Art! USED CONDITION: There are the normal scruffs & scratches to the sled due to lots of use. There is a split lengthwise in the red body of the sled. There are pencil markings on the underneath side of the body. The split has been glued. The wood runner on one (1) has been broken & glued in two (2) spots at the upright post. The other runner has additional metal attached to both sides of the wood runner at the last upright post. There are some chips of wood missing & hairline cracks here & there. There are several holes in the body that do not go clear through the wood. The red paint is worn & missing in spots. Approximate Measurements: 32″ x 11.5″ x 11.5. If there is something specific you need to know, please ask questions! Condition: Used condition with wear consistent with age & use.
