Wonderful American Antique Folk Art Carved Wood Horse, Glass eyes, Child’s rocking horse. Appears to be all original with no breaks or repairs that we could find. CONDITION : Please review photos for best idea of condition. Wear to the paint as expected. Loss and wear to the felt, wear to the tail, chips to wood at the feet. MEASUREMENTS : Overall Horse is 38 long foot to foot front to back. When on the stand/ base, horse stands total of 32 tall. Horse and base assembled are 14-1/2″ x 38″ x 32. AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART WOOD CHILD’S SLED ORIGINAL BLUE PAINT CHRISTMAS. Up for sale is this amazing child’s sled. This is such a cute sled!! It’s a ligth blue and it’s a sled you (or small kids years ago would) sit on while wooshing down the snow! The runners are metal and this little sled is heavy for its size. We don’t recommend that you use this for your kids to downhill sled on, however, we do think it would make a great Teddy Bear display item or perhaps a Santa display for Christmas! The upper part is wood and it’s a worn light blue. The bottom rails are wonderfully shaped to plow through the snow. They are wrapped with metal and there’s a metal crossbar underneath also. On the back on the deck there’s some damage to the wood. There are holes in the front of the runners for a rope but there’s no rope. It’s in great condition for its age. The paint is all rough and worn as you can see in the pictures. As you’d expect, there are scuffs and paint loss, rust, paint drips, fading, scrapes, scratches, nicks, cracks, dings, worn off edges, edge wear, smudges, and patina! What a great look!! It’s been well-loved and probably has lots of miles of downhill slides on it!! We’re not really sure how you steer (probably with your feet off the back) it so we hope whoever had it was hanging on! It measures 26.5″ L x 11″ W x 6.5 high to the deck. It weighs about 13 lbs! We will do our best to answer your questions. Thank you for looking at this item. Let us know if you have any questions. SO CUTE! Antique Primitive Folk Art Painted Childs Table and Chairs Set AAFA

Really nice 1930’s – 1940’s toddler sized wooden toy table and two matching chairs, hand painted with little pink roses with red and green accents. Paint and finish is original. The set is in good used condition. Sturdy enough to be used for toddlers, take a close look at the pictures, some wear and tear also makes a great photography prop or use for dolls or bears as display. Table – 19″ wide by 17″ tall by 15 deep. Each Chair – 20″ tall by 12″ wide by 10 deep. Chair seat – 10″ by 10″ by 10. I have seen sets very similar to this one made by the South Bend Toy Company in Southbend Indiana from the 1930’s. I believe they were marketed as KINDERSETS. This one has an old paper label under one chair but it isn’t readable. Would look so cute in your Country Primitive Home! The item “SO CUTE! Antique Carved Painted Child’s Bull Carousel Ride Folk Art Amusement Park

A wonderful piece of folk art! This is a child’s carousel ride carved wooden Bull. He is in park paint (park paint is applied to amusement park rides during the off season when the original paint is worn, it is not as refined as the original paint). The paint and surface have a wonderful worn age and the ride has some early repairs so he was on the ride for a long time. We have mounted the bull on an iron folk art stand for display, stand is included. This is a from an animal menagerie ride, possibly a traveling ride which would be taken from place to place. Found in Mexico City this ride was more than likely carved in Mexico as were many of the child’s rides. We put it’s age at early 20th century or older. The bull is 28″ long x 13″ tall x 6 wide. EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART PRIMITIVE WOOD TOY CHILD’S SLED WITH ORIG RED PAINT. Up for sale is this cute large child’s sled. It’s in great condition for his age. It is a wood sled on the large, heavy duty size with metal runners underneath. It has heavy duty metal rings and iron protectors on the front and heavy duty metal struts holding the sled up from the runners. The sled is a nice red color which looks to be its original color. The paint is all rough and alligatored as you can see in the pictures. As you’d expect, there are scuffs and paint loss, rust, fading, scrapes, scratches, nicks, cracks, dings, worn off edges, edge wear, smudges and patina! What a great look!! It’s been well-loved and probably has lots of miles of downhill slides on it!! We’re not real sure how you steer it so we hope whoever had it was hanging on! On the back you can see that the wood has deteriorated over time. The tails of the wood are worn, missing and chewed up. The rest of the wood has cracks and has dried out over time. ORIGINAL ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY CARVED AND PAINTED FEEDING BIRDS FOLK ART MECHANICAL WOOD TOY. THIS IS A GREAT PIECE OF FOLK ART. THIS PIECE LOOKS AS THOUGH IT WAS MADE BY SOMEONE CARVING OR WHITTLING A COUPLE OF BIRDS ON THEIR PORCH AND THEN HEADING INTO THEIR SHOP TO CUT THE OTHER PIECES TO JUST PUT IT ALL TOGETHER. THE BIRDS ARE WONDERFUL LITTLE PAINTED BIRDS THAT MEASURE ABOUT 3 3/4 INCHES LONG. THE PAINT IS ALL ORIGINAL AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE STICKS WITH WHICH THE BIRDS ARE PERCHED ARE JUST 2 VERY OLD LEFT OVER SCRAPS. GREAT ORIGINAL TACKS THAT ARE BENT INTO THE WOOD ON THE FRONT. THE BIRDS ARE A THICKNESS THAT HOLD THE WHOLE TACK. THE WAY THE MECHANICAL TOY WORKS IS THAT THE 2 HORIZONTAL STICKS PULL BACK AND FORTH MAKING THE BIRDS ALTERNATE DIPPING INTO THE FOOD BOWL IN THE MIDDLE. THE BOWL SHOWS AN OLD CHIP BUT STILL DISPLAYS BEAUTIFULLY. REALLY A WONDERFUL TOY THAT WAS MADE TO ENTERTAIN YOUNG CHILDREN. VERY DELICATE AND AMAZINGLY PRESERVED. TOTAL DISTANCE WHEN BOTH BIRDS ARE UP IS 13 INCHES. THE STRUCTURE MAKES IT VERY EASY TO HANG ON THE WALL AS THE PIECE OF FOLK ART IT IS. REALLY AN OUTSTANDING PIECE – A TRUE ONE OF A KIND.
