Andre Normil Original Haitian Seaside Oil Painting on Masonite. It is a wonderful original painting with tremendous color. It appears to be in its original wooden frame and is an oil painting on Masonite that signed in the lower right hand corner. As you can see from the photos near the top left of the painting some of the blue is coming through where one of the sail is tied up and there may be some small areas of paint loss but it is in such a way that it may have been intentional by the artist? The frame has a bit of wear with age but it compliments the piece well and it is ready to hang. It measures approximately 28 1/2 x 24 1/2 inches framed, and the viewable image size is approximately 24 x 19 1/2. Thanks for your interest. Andre Normil joined the Centre dArt in 1951.
