Paint decorated miniature dome top trunk or document box. This is a really nice box! The box retains its original lock plate and hinges but the hasp has been replaced. It is lined with old wallpaper. It is constructed with very light, thin pine and a combination of old and some newer nails. The decoration is a later (newer) artisan addition but looks as old as the box. There is a repaired crack in the top securely glued. It measures 10″ long x 5-1/2″ tall x 5-1/2 deep (front to back).
