We’re not sure what it was used for but we know it’s old. We don’t know how old but it has old square nails and that alligator, chippy paint. There are two newer metal hooks in the top of the pediment in the event you want to hang it. It measures 61.25″ W at the top of the corbel and 55″ W at the base.
