BEAUTIFUL EARLY AMERICAN CANDLE STAND. LATE 18TH / EARLY 19TH CENTURY. About 43″ high x 12 1/4″ across the iron candelabrum. Wonderful paint decorated single shaft standing candle holder. Three blacksmith-made iron spikes to hold the candles. Original green paint over a red primer base. Base pegged to the shaft. Small, well-worn check missing from the base (visible in the images). EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART AAFA WASH / PLANT STAND FOLDING TABLE ORIGINAL RED PAINT. Up for sale is this amazing old wash stand, plant stand or folding table. We’re not sure what it might have been used for but we are sure that it’s unique and beautiful! This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! 47″ L x 16 1/2″ W at the base of the legs by 19 H. It’s a rare, one-of-a-kind white low folding table or stand of some sort. It may have been a wash stand. It has splayed legs that fold out with little wood turns that hold the legs in place. Then the legs can be folded in and it condenses down. It doesn’t lay completely flat but it is close. In the top, on either the left or right board, there’s a handle cut out. This is to carry it by when it’s folded down. It’s very handy! The top boards are 2.75″ W x almost 1″ thick!! It’s a wonderful and nice red color and it appears to be the original paint. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, old paint, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. This is a wonderful piece of Folk Art or painted art from a roadside stand in Indiana. This ear of corn is hand painted on an old wooden ironing board and was hung on a wall as a trade sign for a corn farm stand. This is a unique one of a kind piece of art. The sign dates from somewhere in the early to mid 20th century and is in wonderful condition. The surface shows some age and the mounting holes show very wear which indicates that the sign would have been taken down in the off season. The ear of corn is 53 7/8″ tall x 15″ wide and could be hung both vertically or horizontally. Like us on face book. Here is a WONDERFUL ANTIQUE LARGE WOODEN MODEL SLOOP SAILING BOAT OR POND BOAT NAMED THE ALBATROSS. MEDFORD with EXCEPTIONAL ORIGINAL CUSTOM-MADE PAINT-DECORATED STAND WITH NICE LIGHTHOUSE SEASCAPE PAINTING AND PINSTRIPING ON RED. Model looks to be c. 1900 vintage or thereabouts. I assume the town name refers to Medford, Massachusetts. Boat, including the stand, is 44-3/4″ tall and hull is 31-7/8″ long. The boat and stand in mostly old surface with original c. 1900 coastal seascape painting on the stand. The stand is original to the boat. The painting on the stand even looks like it has this boat sailing in the water with lighthouse in background. A couple of broken strings on the mast. The hull is made out of a solid piece of wood. The sail looks like it is probably a more recent replacement since it is so white looking. The mast is in good unbroken condition. Great old model boat. You will need a small precision screwdriver and tool to reattach the tiny bolt and nut on side of boat on your end. Look for my other nice Old Items I will be listing as well this week. AAFA VINTAGE FOLK ART METAL PLANT STAND ORIGINAL BLUE PAINT STORE DISPLAY. Up for sale is this wonderful old metal plant stand. It has original blue paint and a wonderful chippy, faded, rusty patina to it! We have no idea how old it is. It’s a quarter round and would fit in to a corner nicely. It would be a great store display or a plant stand. It has metal “shelves” and the shelves are radius-ed wire shelves. There are also metal feet to support the bottom shelf. Two of the feet are a little wiggly but they still support the shelf and are very sturdy. There are a couple of places where the rust ate away at the metal and you can see those in the pictures. It gives it a great look! It measures 28″ high by 24″ wide on each leg and the wire shelves are about 7 deep.
