This is a Double Sided Folk Art Painted Wood Game Board. There is a decal attached to the side that states that this is a No. This wood game board weighs 7.4 pounds and measures 28 and 1/2″ wide by 28 and 5/8″ tall by 1 and 1/2 thick. It is in good condition with some minor wear present. I do not see any breaks or repairs. ANTIQUE AAFA FOLK ART DOUBLE SIDED CHECKERBOARD ORIGINAL PAINT RED AND WHITE. Up for sale is this old hand painted checkerboard. It has a great folk art feel to it! The board is red and white with worn edges, paint loss and hand wear. The gaming part has beautiful bright red with white color alternating squares. The board is a 12 x 12 game field. It appears to be made from one large piece of wood with a couple of cracks in it. It measures 29 L x 18 W and is about 1.25 thick. It weighs about 7 lbs. There are two newer picture hangers on the back side to hang the checkerboard on the wall. You can see this in the pictures. Also on the back is a game. We dont know what the game is, but its black rectilinear lines with a cross looking thing in the center of the board. This side also has worn edges, scrapes and hand wear. This is a GREAT double-sided game board!! As mentioned, theres some edge wear, paint loss, nicks, scrapes, scratches and dings. Also, at the side of each players side, there was probably a small wood trim that would separate their checkers from the playing field. The paint is missing along this thin line as you can see in the pictures. All of these issues are just as youd expect from and item of this age. Its still just fabulous!!! He is well known and one of the more notable folk artists in the US. Miller at Folk Fest in Atlanta. I can still see him wandering around in his overalls. This is a great Signed double sided Rooster metal cutout. One side is brightly colored with a yellow background, highlighted with red, purple, blue and bright red wings. The other side is yellow and red. The comb, beak and feet are bright red on both sides. At its longest, the cutout is approximately 21 and it is about 11 tall. Aafa Folk Art Single Sided Game Checker Board Original Red Paint Square Nails

AAFA FOLK ART SINGLE SIDED GAME CHECKER BOARD ORIGINAL RED PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this old hand-painted checker / game board. It has a great folk art feel to it! The board is a wonderful red color with cream-colored squares. It’s an 8 x 8 game board. There is paint loss, edge wear and hand wear but it looks just great! The game is on a two-piece board as we hope you can see in the pictures. We don’t know when the game was painted on but it looks old to us. It’s got great colors! The checkerboard has bread board ends and in the upper left corner there’s some chunks of wood missing. There are old rusty nails in the bread board ends. And, on the sides, the edging is a bluish color as you can see in the pictures. There are a couple of square nails which we tried to show in the pictures. Not all of the nails are square nails. Also on the top there is a nice round hook to hang it up by. On the back, the one smaller board is a different color and the bigger board is a wood color. There are two hangers on the back as you can see in the pictures. It measures 23.5″ L x 13.5″ W x 1 thick the main wood is. As mentioned, there’s some paint loss, nicks, scrapes, scratches, worn edges and dings. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from an item of this age… It’s still just a neat old board!!
