He was a self-taught folk artist who began producing outsider art late in life. He gained recognition in the 80s and was subsequently in Museums throughout the US. He is well known and one of the more notable folk artists in the US. Miller at Folk Fest in Atlanta. I can still see him wandering around in his overalls.
