This is a nice original artist signed vintage oil painting of a man jockey and a horse harness racing (see photos). The painting is framed in a wood picture frame (see photos). The painting is painted on canvas covered artist panel. The artwork is signed by the artist Barnard with information written on the back identifying the location as Walnut Hills, Illinois (see photos). The painting is American in origin and it is painted in a Naive Folk Art Americana Primitive style (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the artist). The item in total framed measures about 1 foot 9 and 3/4ths inches high and it is about 2 feet 3 and 3/4ths inches wide. The painting portion without the picture frame measures about 1 foot 6 inches high and 2 feet wide. The picture frame has some scuffs, some scratches, some finish losses and other signs of wear. The painting has some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This item would be a nice addition to your collection. Antique 1700s original Jockey horse racing jumping Folk Art oil painting on wood

Up for sale is a rare antique 18th century original Jockey horse racing Folk Art oil painting on wood. It’s painted with thick rich colored oil paint and done with a lovely stylized approach. It is done on a thick wooden paneling with curved edges and is signed on the bottom right. The last photo shows the signature but is a bit hard to decipher. Measures 18 inches by 11 3/4 inches.
