Up for sale is this fantastic vintage piece of outsider folk art painting, looks like it may be a theorem. It is signed on the border Mae Ellen Kane or Karse? I was not able to dig up any information in the artist. It looks to be pastels or chalk on linen. Its a very busy painting with tons going, there is a Native American settlement with teepees as well as a few on horseback with headdresses on. There are oxen carts, bears, an eagle, some hunters. 17-1800s South Western Folk Art Primitive Native American Indian Canyon Antique

Very interesting native Americans painting by mystery artist. See pics for complete details. It seems to have been folded for quite some time, then hung in the 1800’s (judging by crease shown in center and nails that hold painting to frame). Painting is in fair condition with missing paint flecks around edge, but an amazing and quite interesting piece of of native american history. Size is 22 X 34. I think I found a signature and year 24? But too hard to read name, see last pic. A professional cleaning could show much more detail. Another interesting thing I believe is the string on back is actually made from horse hair! Very unique and rare original folk Native American painting. Great one of a kind piece. Century American Folk Art Sculpture depicts a Native American Indian, with a bow. The bow is original and made from metal. I didn’t notice it at first but a past owner many years ago did some in painting with brown to the worn reddish paint. There also is a missing piece of wood from the handle holding the bow as well as an old repair to the other arm. Even with these problems this 22 tall Folk Art Indian Carving displays very well.
