A fun and atmospheric oil interior of a 17th Century inn with three patrons smoking pipes and drinking together. The artist has inscribed with A. Brauwer at the lower right corner and the painting has been presented in a handsome gilt effect frame with elaborate foliate molding and a gilt effect slip. The frame has some areas of restoration and a contemporary gilt effect finish applied.
