Early Primitive Folk Art Bedpost Doll. This is a stunning original 19th century figure with original paint. It has the remnant of a nailed on stripe of hair. The dress is hand sewn. I will let the photos show the stunning detail of this piece. It measures about 13-3/4 tall and is in excellent condition for the age (see photos).
