Original one of a kind painting on stretched canvas, titled. Size – 18″x14″. Original painting by self-taught American artist, Debbie Criswell. Direct from artist, hand signed, dated, and titled on back of painting. Painting is on a stretched canvas, gallery wrapped, no staples on sides. Sides are painted black so no need to frame. Art work comes to you with Certificate Of Authenticity, signed and dated. I use all professional artist grade supplies, this is a professional painting. Every computer monitor differs in many ways, lighting, color, etc. Painting could vary slightly than what you see in photos. OOAK Folk Art Halloween Handmade Painted Face Pretty Witch Doll Black Cat Mask

One of a kind folk art handcrafted Halloween witch doll was made by a Pennsylvania folk artist. The witch can sit or hang on a wall. The witch has a hand painted face in the style of Joe Spencer dolls. She has light brown hair and big brown eyes. She has a fabulous black cat mask that fits over her face. She can be posed with the mask on, off or partially on her face. Looks great every way. She’s holding a round rattle on a wire that reads to “Boo”. The rattle is trimmed with shiny orange tinsel. Her green cardboard hat is also trimmed with shiny orange tinsel. Please note there are some spots of worn paint on the back of the hat. Please refer to photos. Her dress and long bloomers are made of various pattern Halloween fabrics primarily in shades of green, orange and yellow. Her legs, arms, and face are made to look aged. Her legs are orange and white stripes. Her shoes are painted like black ballet flats. This witch doll measures approximately 24 long (not including hat). Hat is approximately 5 high. Her scary black cat mask is awesome all by itself. The fabric painted mask measures approximately 6″ x 6″. Excellent used condition from a smoke free home. Outsider Painting By Mary T Smith FOLK ARTIST-Brown Face. Brown Face (circa 1992). Smith was born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, and spent most of her life as a tenant farmer and a cook for other families. She later moved to Hazelhurst, Mississippi, where she lived and worked until her death. After retiring, and with time on her hands, she began to paint. Smith said, I did it to pretty the place and please the Lord. Smith’s house and in its surrounding yard was located on one of Hazelhurst’s main streets and captured the attention of countless passers-by with its colorful displays of her work on roofing tin. In her paintings, Mary T. Smith used pieces of tin, scraps of plywood, scrap-metal sheets or other found materials. She worked with bold brush strokes, usually in one or two primary colors. Most of her paintings are figurative of animals or portraits, in a simple, child-like style, sometimes incorporating words or letters. Her lively figures are often depicted with both hands raised to heaven. Mary T Smith died in 1995 , at the age of ninety-one. Smith – I WE OUR. She has blue eyes, red lips and an antique, blonde, mohair wig which has been sewn onto her head. Her dress is made of old red velvet and a gold/orange brushed cotton-which has the feel of flannel. I believe her dress and undergarments are original. A photo button has been sewn onto her dress. She wears an adorable pr. Of black leather antique shoes with red shoelaces and an old straw hat with a bow. She caries an old basket of flowers. She does not bend at the waist so she cannot sit-only stand. A lovely doll to add to your collection! Condition: This doll has paint rubs on her chin and forehead. She is slightly dirty and has stains on her face and neck. Her dress has a small hole on the front of her bodice. Her straw hat has wear and a small piece missing. There are no holes on her body and no odors. Stand is not included in this sale.
