AAFA FOLK ART ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE BUCKET BENCH WOOD ORIGINAL BLUE PAINT MORTISED. Up for sale is this wonderful one of a kind bucket bench. It’s old, and it has a very slight wobble from side to side, but it’s adorable and nice painted blue color with lots of age and patina! The shelves are mortised into the sides of the bucket bench as you can see in the pictures. The shelves are aged as you can see and the wood has wear, thin cracks, paint loss and patina on them. The sides have a nice scalloped top to them and the bottoms have whale tail boot jack style bases. On the right side leg the wood has worn away and through the paint in one spot. We don’t what this is from but it’s scratched through the paint layer and is in to the wood layer. This is truly a one-of-a-kind item! The bucket bench measures. 53 H in back x 39.5 W x 10 D. We don’t know the age of this item. There are nicks, scrapes, small cracks, edge wear, paint loss, paint drips, fading, dings and worn paint as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART AAFA WASH / PLANT STAND FOLDING TABLE ORIGINAL RED PAINT. Up for sale is this amazing old wash stand, plant stand or folding table. We’re not sure what it might have been used for but we are sure that it’s unique and beautiful! This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! 47″ L x 16 1/2″ W at the base of the legs by 19 H. It’s a rare, one-of-a-kind white low folding table or stand of some sort. It may have been a wash stand. It has splayed legs that fold out with little wood turns that hold the legs in place. Then the legs can be folded in and it condenses down. It doesn’t lay completely flat but it is close. In the top, on either the left or right board, there’s a handle cut out. This is to carry it by when it’s folded down. It’s very handy! The top boards are 2.75″ W x almost 1″ thick!! It’s a wonderful and nice red color and it appears to be the original paint. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, old paint, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Antique storage bench from Hungary with original Folk Art paint, dated 1899. This sturdy pine bench is painted with an original rust colored background and five floral panels in green and orange on the back, seat and front. If you look closely, the date 1899 is painted in white using the spaces in between the panels, on both on the backrest and the front baseboard. Inside the hinged seat is a large storage compartment. The wear on the original paint is commensurate with the age of the bench and still retains a lot of detail and vibrant colors. Signed along the back rest. RARE Antique 19th C PA BOOTJACK Legs Grain Painted STOOL Cricket Bench FOLK ART – An wonderfully folk art painted GRAIN PAINTED antique wooden stool or cricket bench -from PA- most likely Lancaster County Or Berk County PA- please see all photos to review it for yourself. It has a really folk art look and wonderfully designed lines. The apron is beautifully crafted as are the artful cut out legs. The grain paint was masterfully done and is in excellent condition especially for the age of this bench. It has very minor wear to the painted surface- if any at all. AAFA FOLK ART ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE BUCKET BENCH WOOD OLD BLUE PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful one of a kind bucket bench. It’s old, it’s adorable and it’s a wonderful painted blue color with soft green undertones and lots of age and patina! There are two shelves that are nailed into the sides of the bucket bench as you can see in the pictures. The shelves are in good condition but the top shelf has a portion of wood missing, likely where a knot was, in the middle-left-center as you can see in the pictures. The right side of the top shelf has a small crack in it and on the left side one of the nails created a chip in the shelf and the chip is still there. We took a close-up of that area for you. The whole bucket bench is in good condition considering its age. The bucket bench measures 38″ W x 29-7/8″ H x 12-5/8 D (with the back board). The wood is almost exactly 1 thick, just slightly less. The sides both have cracks in them but they are still sturdy and have not split. The sides at the bottom have a nice rounded scalloped / bootjack to them and top edge is radiused. The back boards have circular saw marks as you can see in the pictures. There are a couple of places where the nails split the wood. There are mostly old square nails as you can see, but there are also some gnarly looking rusty old round nails. This is truly a one-of-a-kind item. We don’t know the age of this item but we think it’s from the 1800’s but you make the call. There are nicks, scrapes, small cracks, edge wear. Loss, paint, fading, dings and worn paint as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. We will do our best to answer your questions. IMPORTANT EARLY 19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE YELLOW PINE GRAIN PAINTED SETTLE BENCH. This is a very large specimen with a spindle turned back, nicely scrolled back rail crest with center pediment and fully formed arms with a lift top seat revealing a large generous storage compartment complete with candle till. It is structurally pure with very strong remaining grain painted decorations with no damages. It has its original very unusual strap hinges with its lock and catch. Sorry we did not receive a key for the lock. This bench is embellished with four painted panels on its front and seats top with panels painted on each right and left end sides.
