A wonderfull find! Matching Folk art portraits of a brother and sister, 1840’s

This is a rare pair of Folkart Portraits of a Brother and Sister, oil on canvas, unsigned but in the style of Joseph Goodhue Chandler. Each painting measures 10 3/4X9 1/4 inches and came in a pair of 19th century gilt frames. The overall frame size is 13 1/2X12 inches. There are a few minor spots of repair and retouch on the edges of the girls portrait. Both works could use a cleaning but they are quite presentable as they now appear.
