Antique 1880’s New England Early American Folk Art Wabash Child’s Sled. The Fantastic Early American Folk Art Wabash Child’s Sled is painted Green with White Pin Striping & Painting. The Sled is Wood with Metal Framework & Runners. The Sled is marked: WABASH SLED PAT. Don’t miss the chance to own this fantastic example of Early American Folk Art! USED CONDITION: There are the normal scruffs & scratches to the sled due to lots of use. There is a split lengthwise in the green body of the sled as well as a smaller split. The splits have been glued. The painting is very worn especially along the edges. The board is warped at the end. The metal framework is bent in some places. There are some chips of wood missing & hairline cracks here & there. Approximate Measurements: 29.25″ x 12.75″ x 8.5. If there is something specific you need to know, please ask questions!
