Aafa Antique Folk Art Noahs Ark With 22 Animals German Great Original Paint

FABULOUS AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART NOAHS ARK WITH 22 ANIMALS GERMAN? Up for sale is this wonderful super cute Noah’s ark. Wow, what great color on this little ark!! It’s a yellow, orange, green, black, grey and blue with a black roof. It’s all hand painted. The little band, just under the roof, where the floral pattern is appears to be a decal but the color and condition is very good. There’s a little piece missing on the one side where the roof comes completely off as you can see in the picture with the roof off. Both sides of the roof are there but the tape has come off at the hinge point so the one side just lays there. But, it is the original roof and the ark appears to be all original. On one end of the ark the wall is separating from the ark just a little. It’s still solid but you can see the gap in the pictures. There are 22 very adorable animals with this ark. They’ve been well loved and played with over the years and as such, there are some missing body parts. We’ve taken pictures of them very close, so be sure to look and see, but the large deer animals are missing an antler, and some of the animals are missing a leg. The one’s missing legs are laying down in the pictures. There are 5 laying down. The others appear to be quite concerned about their friends. As you’d expect, there are scuffs and paint loss, scrapes, scratches, nicks, dings, cracks edge wear, smudges and patina! What a great look!! He seems to still be very happy! The ark measures 10.5″ long at the base and 7.5″ long for just the ark part. It’s about 3″ wides and by 5″ H. The little animals measure. Little black guy in the middle: 3/4 H x 1.25 L. Antique VICTORIAN Folk ART PRIMITIVE Large Landscape BOY FISHING Oil Painting

Here is a large antique oil on canvas painting of a Hudson River primitive/fol art style landscape painting. It depicts a older boy who appears to have been out fishing with a large pole. He is looking out at the lake and there is some storm/rain clouds behind him. The entire piece measures 28 1/2 x 33 3/8 in, in total size and canvas alone measures 25 1/8 x 30 1/8 in. The painting is framed in its original lemon gold antique picture frame. I do not see a signature and it looks to be a folk art/primitive style painting. The back shows two patches that must have been professional repairs as I can’t really detect them from the front. The painting is in fair/good as is vintage condition with some scrapes at the side left bottom, some wear in a few other ares, minor scrapes, and the frame has the typical scrapes and pitting of original lemon gold frames. Please enlarge all pictures to see if condition suits you. The only history I have on this item is that it came out of a home in Aiken , South Carolina and was supposed to have always been in one family. A whimsical hand-carved and painted folk art bird tree by H. Michener, who has been carving and painting birds, snakes, turtles and other animals for over 30 years. The birds are individually carved, wings are of metal and some have horse hair crests. All are one-of-a kind. The topper is his “bumblebee bird” as he calls it. He has said there won’t be many more bird trees because arthritis is making it to difficult to carve. This one stands 28 tall and has great presence. Painted on a thin 16 x 24 panel board piece. VERY GOOD CONDITION with Typical small nick here and there, typical for a BANK’S work. This piece exemplifies the emotion and talents of Mr. More vibrant than my camera captured. Loaded with Michael’s signature razor etchings! BIO: Michael has won many honors with his work which has been exhibited in New York, Denver, and Atlanta. The Hurn Museum in Savannah, Georgia presented a One-Man exhibition of his work in 2005 and has a number of his works in their permanent collection. The caption bubble from Blow Oscar reads, I want Melons! ” with “Lord Love You written at the top of the piece. Oscar appears to be kicking the woman in an attempt to get her melons. Lovely Primitive Folk Art Watercolor Farm Scene by Evelyn Dubiel of Connecticut

A self-taught folk artist, Evelyn Dubiel was inspired to paint after a trip to Colonial Williamsburg. She did a series of reproductions based on the work of. Ammi Phillips and then created paintings based on her own experiences (from AskArt. Com). The artist, now in her nineties is from Connecticut. This piece measures 9″ x 12″ (11 3/8″ x 14 3/8″ in the original sponge painted frame). The frame has a few scuffs that you can see in the photo. Please feel free to ask questions.
