Gorgeous original signed oil painting, dating to April 1989. Size is 12″ by 16 ” inches on heavy thick paper board, with the overall size being approximately 15.5 inches by 19.5 inches, with frame. Condition of painting is very good and clean, with a small surface scratch. The wooden frame is in distressed condition with some scratches, nicks, dents and wear, but is clean. Please note, there is a hook on back, which I left as is, but I recommend adding screw eye hooks and wire to hang painting properly. Painting moves only very slightly in frame. I believe the frame was custom made for the painting. Women, men, children, dogs, cats, white chickens, a horse, sheep, a cow, boy with fishing pole, stuffed teddy bear, a red barn with hay and a farmer, a stone house, a baby cradle, blue enamel wear, rakes, quilts, rugs, farming tools, a clock, geese, chairs, a hurricane lamp, bureaus, furniture, a water pitcher and bowl, a spinning wheel, chairs, baskets, a butter churn, apples, maple syrup jugs, farming tools, an oil lamp, with all sorts of goodies. Painting would be lovely in a colonial home, salt box house, antique shop, a farm house, with the old Americana charm. Perfect for the Americana Fall Art Collector.
