Each measures 12 5/8″ tall (add 1/4″ for the custom made heavy steel 3 1/2 square display bases) and features nicely cast details well-muscled physiques and a multi-layer paint history that is stable and exhibits lots of loss and wear. The African American pugilists have a chocolate milk-toned complexion and their trunks have good, strong color. They have an illustrious provenance having been included in the inventories of 2 of America’s most important Americana dealers of the mid to late 1900’s.
