American Antique Folk Art Cabinet Cupboard With Glass White Alligator Paint

AMERICAN ANTIQUE FOLK ART CABINET CUPBOARD WITH GLASS WHITE ALLIGATOR PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful little glass door cabinet. It’s old and it’s Primitive. It measures 60.25″ high x 42.25″ wide at the crown and is 15 1/2 deep. There’s one drawer down below the doors and the drawer is 32.25″ wide by 11.75″ deep by 6.25 high. The drawer is painted a vibrant red on the inside as you can see. Inside the top shelf is 9.5″ high the next shelf is 8.5″ high. The next shelf is 14″ high and the bottom shelf is 14″ high. If you remove the top shelf, the next top shelf would be 19″ high as it goes up underneath the front of the cabinet and its about 14″ high to the door head. The barber pole is not for sale. It’s a nice two door cabinet with four panes of glass. Inside it’s painted a white also but the shelves clearly have undertones of red. The hardware, hinges, and latches appear to be original! There are rusty little Shaker style hinges and the little latch on the door has a metal knob. The latch is rusty and painted. The little frames of around the glass parts aren’t as old as the cabinet but we don’t know how old they are. The top is painted as you can see in the pictures and it has a crown around the top. Most of the main wood on this cabinet is 3/4 thick. The back is made from boards and the nails have iron spots and streaking as you can see. There’s also a little repair down at the lower left side. We took a close-up of that. It’s an old white paint with undertones of off-whites. There’s a lot of alligatoring, dry, chippy and peeling paint here and there as you can see. It’s old and it’s cool! There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a nice size too!! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. American Antique Folk Art Pie Safe Apothecary Original White Alligator Paint

ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE FOLK ART PIE SAFE APOTHECARY ORIGINAL WHITE ALLIGATOR PAINT. Up for sale is this amazing old pie safe / apothecary cabinet. This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! H x 42.5 W at the top x 17.75 D at the top. We’ve had people take their time getting their shipper to come and get the items and it dings our ratings. And no, the barber pole is not for sale. It’s a nice two door pie safe above, with what appear to be the original screens and 5 drawers and one door down below. The hardware, hinges, and latches all match and appear to be original, which is rare! The doors each have little spring latches with a metal knob. The hinges are small butterfly hinges. The doors work well, but the left door hangs down a little bit so there’s a gap at the top and you kind of have to wiggle the latch a little to get it to latch. The right doors works fine. The drawers have cup-handle pulls on them. All of the hardware is old, worn, rusty and in places painted. The top of the cabinet is made from one big 7/8 thick board. The board has warped over the years and is raised in the center and at the front and back as you can see in the pictures. The top is not painted and you can see water marks and stains on the wood if you get up above the cabinet. There have been some newer screws added to the top. You cannot see the top when just looking at the cabinet unless you are really really tall. There’s also a good sized chunk of wood out of one part of the top and we took a close-up picture of that too. The bottom has some wear to it and the right side may need a shim. You can see some of the wear in the bottom picture on the right side. The back is made from boards and thin little battens. Some parts of the battens have broken off as you can see in the pictures but the cabinet is still sturdy. And, this cabinet is heavy for its size. Most of the main wood on this cabinet is 7/8 thick. It’s an old white paint and is a little more off-white inside and the shelves are not painted. Some of the shelves come out and the one in the bottom is kind of in there crooked. It looks to be the way it was built! The doors are held together with little cabinet corner braces. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Antique Aafa Folk Art Early Checkerboard Original Paint Mustard Black White

ANTIQUE AAFA FOLK ART EARLY CHECKERBOARD ORIGINAL PAINT MUSTARD WHITE BLACK. Up for sale is this old hand painted checkerboard. It has a great folk art feel to it! The board is a wonderful mustard, black and white color. It has worn edges, paint loss and hand wear. The gaming part has black /white color alternating squares. The board is a 12 x 12 game field. It appears to be made from two large pieces of wood with bread board ends. The boards have separated pretty good and you can see the seam down the middle of the checkerboard. It has old rusty round nails around the outside of the board. It measures 26.25 L x 19.75 W and is about 1.25″ thick at the edges and 2″ thick at the thickest point. There is a little wire loop on the top of the back to hang the checkerboard on the wall. You can see this in the pictures. This side also has worn edges, scrapes and hand wear. This is a very nice game board!! As mentioned, theres some edge wear, paint loss, nicks, lots of scrapes, scratches and dings. The two boards that make up the checkerboard are a little warped as they kind of hump in the middle of each board and then that creates a valley where the two boards meet in the middle. You can’t really tell when just looking at the board but when you lay it down you can see it. We tried to take a picture of this for you. These issues are just as youd expect from and item of this age. Its still just fabulous!!! Its a very nice piece for your collection. ADORABLE AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART APOTHECARY CABINET OLD WHITE PAINT MAKE-DO. Up for sale is this wonderful six-drawer apothecary cabinet. Isn’t it so cute! It has six equal sized drawers. The color of the cabinet is a nice white, it may have been painted in its lifetime but the paint still looks old. Each drawer has a little staple / metal pull. 23.5 W x 13 D without the knobs x 8 H. It’s a nice little size! The cabinet it made from plywood and is probably a “make do” cabinet from the Depression Era or between there and WWII. The top is one piece of wood and it doesn’t quite go all the way to the back of the cabinet as you can see in the close-up picture. This may have been done to make more than one of these together a stackable item. The entire cabinet has patina, marks. Paint loss, and worn finish as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. The bottom of the cabinet has a little wood loss on the lower right front. The drawers are very clean inside and don’t have any smell or order to them. All the drawers work but a couple of them do stick a little. This is a very nice little apothecary cabinet! We don’t know the age of this cabinet but it looks old to us! You make the call. It is a wonderful and one of a kind item! There are nicks, scrapes, dings. Paint loss, paint chips, and worn finish as you can see in the pictures but nothing you wouldn’t expect from an item of this age. We will do our best to answer your questions. Doll House Antique Folk Art Architectural Model Wood Ooak Red White Paint Aafa

DOLL HOUSE ANTIQUE FOLK ART ARCHITECTURAL MODEL WOOD OOAK RED WHITE PAINT AAFA. Up for sale is this wonderful old antique Primitive architectural building / model or doll house. This is a 2-story wood house that has a hipped roof. The roof does not come off but the back of the house has an opening so you can get inside!! It has a wood exterior with white / and off-white paint, green trim and a red roof, columns and porch. The red paint is all crackled as you can see in the pictures. The white paint has a lot of patina / grunge as you can also see in the pictures. There are two windows on the front upstairs and one window and a door under the shed roof porch. There are also four windows on right side of the house and none on the left side of the house. On the front, the floor of the porch is the same nice oxblood red color. The windows are simple, Primitive, Craftsman-style windows with green frames. The back of the house is open for easy access as you can see in the pictures. When you look inside, you can see wires and sockets for light bulbs. We don’t know what this would have been used for, perhaps a train set? We don’t know if the lights work or not. You can also see a little stair inside from the first to the second floor. Inside the house its all open. The house does have a lot of edgewear, scrapes, chips, crackle, alligatoring, nicks, grunge, fading here and there, scuffs and chips! The edge of the roof has some dings at the corners as you can see in the pictures. The house measures 23.5″ D x 15.5″ W x 21.5 H. Thank you for looking at this item.
