ANTIQUE EARLY FOLK ART CHIMNEY CABINET ORIGINAL GREY PAINT ALLIGATOR SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this amazing old single door cabinet with old square nails. This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! 86 H x 33.5 W x 19.5 D. It’s very tall! We’ve had people take their time getting their shipper to come and get the items and it dings our ratings. Barber pole is not for sale. It’s a single door chimney cabinet with one drawer down below. The hardware, hinges, and latches all match and appear to be original, which is rare! The door has a little spring latch with a metal knob. It has some scroll work / etching on the latch, very nice! The hinges are small Shaker-style hinges. The door works well but is sagging a little so you have to lift up on it in order to close it fully. The drawer has two wooden mushroom knobs pulls on it. All of the hardware is old, worn, rusty and in places painted. The top has a small crown molding around the top of the cabinet. The sides are tongue and groove bead board wood. The bottom has a trim around it and that trim has deteriorated a little on the left front at the bottom. He bottom has some wear to it as you can see in the pictures. The cabinet will likely need shims as you can see the brace underneath and the wear / aged wood underneath. The back is made from thinner tongue and groove boards. There is one newer hole that someone sadly drilled in the back of the cabinet. But, the back is covered with old square nails as you can see in the pictures. It’s an old grey paint and the inside is not painted. The shelves all come out so it could be used as an armoire. All the shelves are made from a larger board and a thinner board as you can see in the pictures. The drawer down below is dovetail mortised as you can see in the close-up picture. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Aafa Antique Early Folk Art General Store Counter Old Blue Paint Square Nails

AAFA ANTIQUE EARLY FOLK ART GENERAL COUNTRY STORE SALES COUNTER OLD BLUE PAINT SQUARE NAILS. This wonderful old counter measures 71.5″ long x 24.5″ wide x 37 high and has beautiful old blue paint with a thick wood top. Up for sale is this. Wonderful late 1800’s or early 1900’s general store sales counter. It’s a great height and perfect for a kitchen island statement piece. The top is smooth around the edges from years of use. Parts of the top have heavy knife / character marks as you can see in the pictures. It is very sturdy and in good condition for its age. This would a be wonderful sales counter for a coffee shop or any retail situation. It would also make a nice kitchen island with plenty of storage underneath! There are some nicks, dings, chips, chunks, holes, divots, edge wear, cracks, alligatoring, stains, paint loss and scratches here and there as you’d expect from an item of this age. The panel on the left side is cracked as you can see in the close up picture. The top has some lighter and darker marks also shown in the pictures. The top looks like old worn walnut to us but you make the call. The paint is old. It might have been originally white underneath, or wood, but either way, the blue paint is old and alligatored. This is all what you’d expect from a counter that was well used over the years. There are some square nails that were used in the original construction. There are some newer nails and screws that were added over the years to firm things up. There are also old, rusty flathead screws too. We can also recommend a couple of shippers. AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART 1800’s BITTERSWEET BLUE PAINT PRIMITIVE DRY SINK SQUARE NAILS WITH LINER. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive dry sink. 48.25 w x 17.75 d x 37 h. It’s a nice sized two door cabinet with a shelf inside. It has outstanding bittersweet and blue colors on the outside. Even more-so, it’s a wonderful dry, soft buttercream / yellow color inside, including the shelf. Please see photos for the best description and accuracy. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! There are also some cracks in the wood from age. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! It’s an old dry sink and inside the top part there is the liner as you can see, very cool. The doors open and the left door has a metal latch and loop to hold it shut. Then when the right door closes, it latches with a little spring latch that has a cool old knob / turn also. You could leave the doors open and display crocks, or firkins or other wonderful items. The hinges are little rusty Shaker style hinges as you can see in the pictures. There are a lot of old rusty nails as you can see in the pictures. Many of them are square nails, especially on the front. Some are rusty and round while others are gnarly and rusty like roseheads. On the sides there are boot jacks that are whale tails. The paint has some edge wear, scrapes, patina, fading, variations of color, wood showing through, chipping and nicks. ANTIQUE FOLK ART 1800’s 24 DRAWER APOTHECARY ORIGINAL GREY PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this amazing apothecary or work cabinet. This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! It’s heavy too! It measures 30.25. H x 29 W x 10.5 D at the top. It’s 27.25″ W x 9.5″ D at the cabinet. It’s a nice 24 drawer cabinet. The top 5 rows are all about the same size, and bottom row is a little bit taller drawers. All but one of the drawers is painted in a grey / silver color. This appears to be the original paint. The one upper right unpainted drawer has some of the grey paint on it but most of it is gone. The drawers have cup-handle pulls on them. All of the hardware is old, worn, rusty and in places painted. All of the handles are a similar style with 22 of them matching. Two of them (upper right and bottom row) are similar but different and in a different place on the drawer. It adds a nice “make do” look to this cabinet. There are lots of square nails in this cabinet and it is heavy! The main members of wood at 3/4 thick! It weighs in at 58 lbs. On top it’s not painted and it has a lot of patina from the years. And, at the right side, there’s a chunk of wood missing as you can see in the close-up pictures. The bottom has some wear / damage to it and we took some close-ups of that too. It still sits strong and these issues don’t appear to affect it. There are scratches, nicks, chips, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART GRAIN BIN ORIGINAL CRACKLE PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful, old, wooden grain bin It is mostly square in shape with canted sides. It’s a wonderful old green color with lots of patina, chippy paint, paint loss and crackles. Wow, we love the look! It measures 35-3/4 H x 21.25 D at deepest part x 8.25 D at top x 20-3/4 W. It’s relatively clean inside as you can see from the pictures. It’s a wonderful size! This will make a great conversation piece. There’s some nicks, chips, surface imperfections, scrapes, discolorations, fading, chipping, crackling, flaking and edgewear as you can see in the pictures. These “imperfections” add character! It has many character scratches to the interior and spotting or differences in color from age and use. Look at the color, WOW! It’s clean inside considering its age. Early Antique Aafa Folk Art Wooden Doll Cradle Original Paint Square Nails Dovet

EARLY ANTIQUE AAFA FOLK ART PRIMITIVE WOODEN BABY DOLL CRADLE (c1800) ORIG PAINT SQUARE NAILS DOVETAILED. Up for sale is this wonderful old, 19th-century baby cradle. We don’t know how old but most of these we have seen are from the 1800’s. This one might be earlier that that!! It’s wood, it’s dovetailed, it has wooden pegs, it has big honking square nails and it’s just adorable! The wooden pegs are in the bottom of the crib and go in to the rockers. The big square nails are on the end and we took a close-up of those. It’s a wonderful aged-old greenish paint on the outside and a worn wood dark stained on the inside. There is some edge wear, paint loss, nicks, broken dovetails, cracks, scrapes, splatters, scratches, dings and patina. The top round part of the cradle has a crack in it as you can see, as does the side of the tall part. The side part has pulled away slightly from the crib at the crack. At the footboard there’s also a couple of cracks and the top part is a bit wiggly if you mess with it but it is still well attached. The cradle leans a little to the left as you can see from the end. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from an item of this age. 41″ L x 23″ H to the top and 13″ H to the cradle x 20″ W at the rockers and 14 W at the crib. AAFA EARLY FOLK ART ANTIQUE CABINET CUPBOARD OLD RED GREY PAINT SQUARE NAILS. Up for sale is this wonderful old wall cabinet or cupboard. It’s a wonderful grey / red color. It has a single door and scroll top. There are Shaker style hinges and a wooden thumb-turn spin latch. The cabinet measures 27.25 H to the main part of the cabinet and 31 H to the top of the scroll top x 19 W x 10.25 D. There is a large hole in the scroll top probably from where it was hung on the wall. The cabinet is old, but we don’t know how old. It does have square nails in the back and we took a picture of some of them for you. They are all rusty but some of the nails are round also. The paint is old and crackled with grey on top with red and wood color undertones. The back of the cupboard is wood and it made from two pieces of wood (or one split one) and the gap between the two sides is pretty obvious as you can see in the pictures. Inside there are two shelves, three sections total. The inside is painted the similar grey with stains, streaks, edgewear, patina and obvious wear from use and age. Aafa Antique Early Folk Art 1800 Cupboard Pie Safe Square Nails Dovetailed Paint

AAFA ANTIQUE EARLY FOLK ART 1800 CUPBOARD PIE SAFE SQUARE NAILS DOVETAILED PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive pie safe / cupboard. It’s a nice sized two door cabinet with a single drawer up above. On the sides, there are punched tins little stars on them as you can see in the pictures. They appear to be the original tins which are in good shape as you can see in the pictures but not without issues. There is a hole in the second tin on the left side. There’s some paint on the tins and some paint not on the tins. 38.75″ wide at the top by 16″ deep at the top it’s 50. It’s a wonderful Primitive red painted finish with the richness of the patina of age. The back is great looking and has stains and patina. It also has letters stenciled across the top of the back and they say “AWG”. There are square nails in the top along with rusty round nails. We took a close up picture for you. On the front, the left door has a crack / split in it in the middle and the right door has a crack / split along the right side. You can see these in the pictures. On the drawer, the left knob / pull is a mushroom style while the right one is not. There’s a little metal thumb turn on the doors and it has some marking, scarring and twisting marks from years of use. Inside there’s a latch bolt that apparently was added to keep the left door in place and then the thumb turn keeps the other door to the left door. The doors have Shaker style hinges. Inside there are three shelves which have patina and wear on them. The top is wood but is not painted. The drawers are not dovetailed. This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor cabinet like this! What a great look! The cabinet has some edge wear, scrapes, scratches, chunks of wood missing, chips, patina, fading, variation of color, mouse holes, rounding, and nicks. Aafa Early Antique Folk Art General Store Original Paint Square Nails Dovetailed

EARLY ANTIQUE FOLK ART PRIMITIVE WOOD DRY WRITING SLOPE SQUARE NAILS DOVETAILED. Up for sale is this wonderful old primitive writing slope or desk with cubbies or slots. This is an old, table top style desk. The lid lifts up but it doesn’t stay up by itself. We propped it up with a tube in the pictures and the tube it not included. Above the writing slope there are compartments for documents. There are 18 horizontal slots and one large area to the left. The big area to the left has 3 vertical slots but there are no dividers for those slots. This is an old desk with a great look! It’s a wonderful dry wood, greyish green painted alligatored and crackled color with wood undertones. It’s a very nice color. In some areas, it’s a lighter green, like across the front. Inside, it’s a little grungy and shows years of use and age. The paint appears to be all original and is dry, alligator, worn, rubbed, scraped, chipped, nicked, edge worn and patina-ed! This is everything you’d expect to see from an old survivor desk like this! What a great look! There are a couple of Shaker style metal hinges in the top so the top can hinge upward. On the front of the desk and in the top of the writing slope there are holes where there used to be a lock of some sort. The bottom of the desk is made from 3 boards and there is some separation between the boards as you can see in the pictures of the bottom and the pictures of the inside. The top of the cubbies is one board and that board has warped some over time as you can see in the pictures from the sides. We don’t know the age or origin of this cabinet but we do know that it’s adorable! Please see photos for accurate detail and description. ORIGINAL BLUE PAINT RARE ANTIQUE FOLK ART AAFA WOOD SPOON RACK HOLDER SQUARE NAILS, LARGE SIZE! Up for sale is this wonderful old spoon rack. It’s so rare to see a large one, and even. 25.75 L x 24.5 H x 7.75 D. It’s a nice blue and it’s worn and crackled in all the right ways. At the top shelf there is a place for a mortar and pestle. On that shelf there are spoon holder locations for 12 spoons. Then there’s another shelf and on that shelf there are another 12 spoon locations on the edge and 22 slots in the shelf for more spoons. Below that there is a wood bar that goes across the back. All in all it will hold 46 spoons. The paint is worn and faded and has some green undertones on one side. Underneath looks really old and aged as do the nails, of which some are square and some are round but all of them are rusty. The square nails are mostly on the front in the spoon holder areas. It has have some fading, crackling paint, edgewear, paint loss. On the back there are two newer brackets for which to hang it by.
