Pine double wall box in old blue/grey paint. Nicely proportioned double wall box with stepped front panels. The paint is guaranteed old with some in-painting and touch-up along with some nail holes filled as well. The back, bottom and sides are constructed of 3/4″ pine while the front panels are 1/2″ pine. This is a reconstruction made from antique pine with old original paint. Rustic with lots of bumps and bruises and scratches. It measures 11″ wide x 14-12″ tall x 4-1/4 deep (front to back). ANTIQUE AAFA FOLK ART DOUBLE SIDED CHECKERBOARD ORIGINAL PAINT RED AND WHITE. Up for sale is this old hand painted checkerboard. It has a great folk art feel to it! The board is red and white with worn edges, paint loss and hand wear. The gaming part has beautiful bright red with white color alternating squares. The board is a 12 x 12 game field. It appears to be made from one large piece of wood with a couple of cracks in it. It measures 29 L x 18 W and is about 1.25 thick. It weighs about 7 lbs. There are two newer picture hangers on the back side to hang the checkerboard on the wall. You can see this in the pictures. Also on the back is a game. We dont know what the game is, but its black rectilinear lines with a cross looking thing in the center of the board. This side also has worn edges, scrapes and hand wear. This is a GREAT double-sided game board!! As mentioned, theres some edge wear, paint loss, nicks, scrapes, scratches and dings. Also, at the side of each players side, there was probably a small wood trim that would separate their checkers from the playing field. The paint is missing along this thin line as you can see in the pictures. All of these issues are just as youd expect from and item of this age. Its still just fabulous!!! Paint decorated double wall box in dark red paint with mustard banding on the front and side panels. You’ll need a good strong nail to hang this on as it is a good solid heavy box. It measures 18″ tall x 13-1/4″ wide x 5 deep (front to back). It is made from old vintage recycled antique wood fastened together with authentic early square cut nails. CAFE FIGARO ANTIQUE AAFA WOODEN PAINTED ADVERTISING TRADE SIGN SAN FRANCISCO? Up for sale is this wonderful old painted sign. We don’t know the age of this sign but it looks old to us, you make the call. It’s painted and has an old white / oyster white background with red letters. It’s a wood sign and the top part (possibly all of it) appears to be plywood. It’s worn and faded in places, and a little dirty around the edges perhaps, but it has a great look to it and a wonderful old look. It’s double sided and the back side is about the same except that it also has a wire to hang the sign up by. 19.75 inches wide by 17 inches high by 1.75 inches deep at the trim and 3/4 inches deep at the main sign. It’s a great sign! It has some fading, crackling paint, edge-wear, paint loss, wood missing, paint chips. Antique Victorian Cottage Painted Double Full Bed American Country Folk Art. Antique Victorian Neo-Grec Solid Pine Full Double Bed circa 1865-75. Wonderful big arched crest on headboard and footboard and adorned by large oval Racetrack painted center panels and raised Black Walnut Architectural Relief. The headboard rest between two Gothic spires and the foot board features curved, rounded ends with a corbel facing the inside. Original matching side rails with great curvaceous flared ends. Incredible original grain painted wood grains and a solid substantial bed of quality craftsmanship, it has all the quality and beauty of the Victorian era. Victorian cottage furniture was made between 1850 and 1880. Cottage furniture, also known as country furniture, was often painted and decorated with hand-painted details.
