This is an antique primitive hand painted set of 3 windows out of a 1800/ early 1900’s era Romani gypsy wagon. All original metal hardware latches all windows open and work perfectly. Each window roughly measures 16.5″ x 19″ each is unique and different being hand crafted. The painted colors on these windows are still vibrant and bright the detail is amazing. They are not chipped or banged up. I have them hanging above my fireplace in my living room. From a smoke-free home. The last picture of the Romani wagon is just to give you an idea of what they came off of and It is not the actual wagon. Please let me know if you need any more pictures on something specific. These would make a very cute cat door in a window or decor just sitting on back of a buffet cabinet. Price is for all three I will not split up the set sorry. Folk Art Hand Painted Wooden Box. Smaller dresser table top storage box. Two front doors open on either side. Revealing two interior shelves and. Beautiful mulitple color hand painted. Exterior showing more red with interior blues. Lovely floral heat design on inside of piece. Please view all pictures to appreciate it. Old jewelry trinket documents glove storage box. Exterior shows wear and loss to painted surface. Some wear to wood and continued flaking of paint noted. Interior and backside/bottom in cleaner shape. 5 3/8″ deep by 11 3/8″ wide by 12 3/8 tall. Nice for for display and reuse. Available for private inspection by appointment. Please view all pictures for more information and to judge condition for yourself. Wear and tear with age and use. Wear and continued flaking of paint noted. Backside and bottom may have been refinished, much cleaner front top and front. Unsure of original use of piece. Gorgeous painted rooster on salvaged barn door from PA. A colleague salvaged these doors and has an artist friend paint these animals on the doors. Her work is great – lots of good color and great detail! Great folk art piece. Door measures 44.5″ x 30″. Has the best worn dry surface with wonderful patina on the door. Antique c1800 Oil PaintingFolk Art PrimitiveMinstrels or Musicans at the Door. Up for sale is this very interesting and intriguing oil painting on canvas. You are given the perspective of standing in your home and coming to the door to be greet by a group of minstrels. There is a grown man and young boy with fiddles who are followed by a group of young children to catch the action. The artist has a done a great job creating an air of expectation in their faces. Interesting to note the architecture of the buildings in the background, open shutter and brick work leading to a chimney. Painting done in naive and charming style. Painting is probably European in origin. There is no signature or mark found. Please examine all pictures for detail. Really a very interesting and unusual piece that might be of interest. Measures 20″ X 24″. There is crackulature throughout painting. I personally think it adds charm to the piece. A patch was made by a previous owner. I have looked under black light and there was some in painting done to the man’s pants but can not be seen in normal light.
