Antique Painted Folk Art Wall Comb Box Lancaster County, Pa. Circa late 19th cen. A wonderful folk art comb box in original dark green paint with red polka dots. A small group of these wall boxes, all very similar in form and pattern of decoration, are likely from a single maker in the Lancaster County, Pa region during the late 19th century. In fine original condition having, with the exception of one tiny brad. No restoration or repair. The paint has a lovely, very fine overall cracklature yet is not flaking.
