Here is a charming folk art painted Tall Case Clock from the early 1800’s it stands 86 inches tall to the top of the center finial 16 inches wide and 10 inches deep. The clock has a 30 hour weight driven wood movement made by Seth Thomas who worked in Plymouth Ct. In the early 1800’s. The movement is in good condition with no broken gears and it does run and strike the hours but probably needs some adjustments because it stops periodically. The clock comes with easy to follow illustrated set up instructions. I can deliver and set up the clock for free or the clock can be picked up in Easton Ct. Up for sale is this antique Forestville Clock Company 30 Hour Ogee Clock. It is set apart from others by a very unique and what I find to be a very attractive paint job. I’m not sure how old the paint is, though it is clearly not original. It does show some wear, dings and chips, mostly along the edges and corners. The dial also appears to have some loss and damage which is really only visible when you open the door. Measures about 26″ x 15 1/4″. Please view all 12 photos to help judge condition.
