Please see item description. 19th Century BRITISH PRIMITIVE CAPRICCIO Landscape Oil Painting WARWICK CASTLE. “Warwick Castle Landscape” British Primitive c1850. Highly decorative early Victorian work- a view of Warwick Castle from the River Avon. The artist has added to the feel of the capriccio with the addition of an old bridge over the river. Size- 13.5 by 17 inches approx including frame, canvas 10 by 14 inches approx. Medium- Oils on canvas Frame- Antique wooden frame, some knocks, offered free with the painting. Condition- We would be very happy to hang this one as found. Generally good condition given its age, only the odd light mark in places. Some varnish browning, light craqueleur throughout.
