Early Aafa Antique Folk Art Table Top Pie Safe Screened Crackle Blue Paint

EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART TABLE TOP PIE SAFE SCREENED CRACKLE GREY-BLUE PAINT. Up for sale is this nice table top pie safe. It’s old but it has likely been repainted at some point. It’s a faded / soft / grungy greyish-blue with crackle as you can see in the pictures. It measures 24.5 W x 20 D at the top x 28.5″ H at the front and 32″ H at the back. It’s a one-of-a-kind grey-blue, folksy, screened pie safe. It has one door on it with old face over hinges as you can see in the pictures. The doors work well. It has a square wooden door pull and two thumb turns. Overall the screens on the front and sides are reasonable but the front screen near the bottom is a little loose and the sides screens are a little spotted/rusty. We took a picture close-up of the left side. The grain is lifted here and there and the back is bead board. On the right side there’s a vertical piece near the back where there is a brighter and newer bit of bluer paint. Underneath it’s old wood with one board toward the back looking like it was replaced at some point. Inside there is one shelf and it is pretty clean. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust on the screens, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. Early Antique Folk Art Aafa Pie Safe Original Blue Alligator Paint Cupboard

OOAK ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE FOLK ART AAFA PIE SAFE ORIGINAL BLUE ALLIGATOR PAINT ORIGINAL SCREENS!!! Up for sale is this amazing old pie safe. This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! 37 1/4″ W x 40.5″ H x 10.75 D. It’s a rare, one-of-a-kind white, folksy, screened pie safe. It has two doors on it with old Shaker style hinges as you can see in the pictures. The doors work well and the right door has a little wood thumb turn at the top to hold it shut against the cabinet. The cabinet then has a piece of wood down the middle of the cabinet. The left door does not have a thumb turn that holds the left door shut but it doesn’t open on it’s own for us. The doors are old. And there’s a little play in the doors on the hinges and when they are closed. The doors are 3/4 thick. It’s a wonderful and nice blue color. The screens are old, out of shape, a little rusty, perhaps have some paint on them and have a few holes here and there. Inside there are three shelves and they are a grungy, worn and well-used white. The shelves are slightly over 3/4 thick. The back is made from 4 old, wide and cracked boards and one across the top. There are big square nails in the boards on the back and and most of them are painted over in the color of the back which is a lighter, and probably newer blue than the front as it’s not alligatored or crackled like the blue on the front. The top is not painted but is very aged and has rusty nails. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Constructed with NO nails, only wooden pegs! A GREAT PIECE OF PENNSYLVANIA GERMAN STYLE FOLK ART. Aafa Early Folk Art Antique Primitive Wall Cabinet Cupboard Old Blue Paint

AAFA EARLY FOLK ART ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE WALL CABINET CUPBOARD OLD BLUE PAINT. Up for sale is this adorable wall cabinet or cupboard. It’s a wonderful deep blue color. It has a single door and scroll top. There’s a super cute little mushroom handle, Shaker style hinges and a thumb-turn metal spin latch. The top metal hinge pin is a long nail. The cabinet measures 19 H to the main part of the cabinet and 23.75 H to the top x 12 W x 6 D. This cabinet would work nicely as a medicine cabinet in a bathroom or just as a nice display piece on the wall. There are two large holes in the scroll top probably from where it was hung on the wall. The cabinet is old, but we don’t know how old. The paint is old and crackled with blue on top with green and wood color undertones. The back of the cupboard is wood and it made from 3 pieces of wood as you can see in the pictures. The nails are rusty, old and round. Inside there’s two shelves, three sections total. The inside is painted and off-white with stains, streaks, chips, edgewear and obvious wear from use and age. New England Pine Double Wall Box Candle Box in Old Blue Paint Folk Art

Pine double wall box in old blue/grey paint. Nicely proportioned double wall box with stepped front panels. The paint is guaranteed old with some in-painting and touch-up along with some nail holes filled as well. The back, bottom and sides are constructed of 3/4″ pine while the front panels are 1/2″ pine. This is a reconstruction made from antique pine with old original paint. Rustic with lots of bumps and bruises and scratches. It measures 11″ wide x 14-12″ tall x 4-1/4 deep (front to back). Estate fresh wonderful antique folk art pottery wall pocket. Very old paint, small chip back of pocket, right bird has tail feather broken off, painted over, dribbles, splashes, old white, blue, paint, small split on left bird’s right chest. Original Blue Paint Antique Folk Art Aafa Wood Spoon Rack Holder Square Nails

ORIGINAL BLUE PAINT RARE ANTIQUE FOLK ART AAFA WOOD SPOON RACK HOLDER SQUARE NAILS, LARGE SIZE! Up for sale is this wonderful old spoon rack. It’s so rare to see a large one, and even. 25.75 L x 24.5 H x 7.75 D. It’s a nice blue and it’s worn and crackled in all the right ways. At the top shelf there is a place for a mortar and pestle. On that shelf there are spoon holder locations for 12 spoons. Then there’s another shelf and on that shelf there are another 12 spoon locations on the edge and 22 slots in the shelf for more spoons. Below that there is a wood bar that goes across the back. All in all it will hold 46 spoons. The paint is worn and faded and has some green undertones on one side. Underneath looks really old and aged as do the nails, of which some are square and some are round but all of them are rusty. The square nails are mostly on the front in the spoon holder areas. It has have some fading, crackling paint, edgewear, paint loss. On the back there are two newer brackets for which to hang it by.
