ANTIQUE AAFA FOLK ART WOODEN MILKING STOOL ROBINS EGG BLUE ALLIGATOR PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful little miking stool. It has crackly old paint, lots of patina and a great look! The step measures 12.25 L x 8.75″ W x 10″ H. It is a nice robin’s egg blue with off-white and wood undertones. There are layers of paint so it has that thick, many layers look to it. Then, there are areas where there is very little paint with wood showing and just a little paint. There are also some areas of white paint on it including some on the underside. Its a very nice decorative piece for any Primitive collection! On one side there’s a crack and it was apparently repaired with a piece of wood underneath and painted over like the rest of the stool. You can see the split in the side. Then there’s a little round wooden bar under the seat also. The top has big mortises into the side legs as you as see in the pictures. This is truly a one-of-a-kind item. We dont know the age of this item. It’s a nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Up for sale is this large vintage landscape painting, a lake or river scene with a moose in the water in front of rolling hills and trees. Signed By Dan Smith. It is accompanied by a note saying it was found in Avery County, Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, near Grandfather Mountain. It also says it was painted with root base paints, I wouldnt know how to determine whether that is true or not. Measures about 48 x 16. There are some scratches and wear both to painting and frame. Painting needs a cleaning, there is also quite a bit of texture, like crackelure present. Please view all 12 photos to help judge condition. Pine Double Wall Candle Box in Grungy Old Robin’s Egg Blue Paint Folk Art

Pine double wall box in grungy blue paint. The paint on this box has been dry scraped down to a beautiful robin’s egg blue. You can see remnants of the two over layers of dark blue and pink. This is a reconstruction using vintage antique pine with original paint. There is some in-painting and touch-up on the edges. It looks great on the wall or on a shelf. Early Aafa Antique Folk Art Table Top Pie Safe Screened Crackle Blue Paint

EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART TABLE TOP PIE SAFE SCREENED CRACKLE GREY-BLUE PAINT. Up for sale is this nice table top pie safe. It’s old but it has likely been repainted at some point. It’s a faded / soft / grungy greyish-blue with crackle as you can see in the pictures. It measures 24.5 W x 20 D at the top x 28.5″ H at the front and 32″ H at the back. It’s a one-of-a-kind grey-blue, folksy, screened pie safe. It has one door on it with old face over hinges as you can see in the pictures. The doors work well. It has a square wooden door pull and two thumb turns. Overall the screens on the front and sides are reasonable but the front screen near the bottom is a little loose and the sides screens are a little spotted/rusty. We took a picture close-up of the left side. The grain is lifted here and there and the back is bead board. On the right side there’s a vertical piece near the back where there is a brighter and newer bit of bluer paint. Underneath it’s old wood with one board toward the back looking like it was replaced at some point. Inside there is one shelf and it is pretty clean. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust on the screens, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you’d expect to see. It’s a nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Please see photos for accurate detail and description. Early Antique Folk Art Aafa Pie Safe Original Blue Alligator Paint Cupboard

OOAK ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE FOLK ART AAFA PIE SAFE ORIGINAL BLUE ALLIGATOR PAINT ORIGINAL SCREENS!!! Up for sale is this amazing old pie safe. This is the real deal!! It’s old, it’s Primitive and it’s fabulous! 37 1/4″ W x 40.5″ H x 10.75 D. It’s a rare, one-of-a-kind white, folksy, screened pie safe. It has two doors on it with old Shaker style hinges as you can see in the pictures. The doors work well and the right door has a little wood thumb turn at the top to hold it shut against the cabinet. The cabinet then has a piece of wood down the middle of the cabinet. The left door does not have a thumb turn that holds the left door shut but it doesn’t open on it’s own for us. The doors are old. And there’s a little play in the doors on the hinges and when they are closed. The doors are 3/4 thick. It’s a wonderful and nice blue color. The screens are old, out of shape, a little rusty, perhaps have some paint on them and have a few holes here and there. Inside there are three shelves and they are a grungy, worn and well-used white. The shelves are slightly over 3/4 thick. The back is made from 4 old, wide and cracked boards and one across the top. There are big square nails in the boards on the back and and most of them are painted over in the color of the back which is a lighter, and probably newer blue than the front as it’s not alligatored or crackled like the blue on the front. The top is not painted but is very aged and has rusty nails. There are also some scratches, nicks, chips, surface rust, paint loss, alligator paint, crackle, hand rub wear, edge wear, paint marks and patina. These are all things you want to see in a true antique – don’t you just love it? ! ? ! It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Thank you for looking at this item. Original hinges and tin closure. Exceptional surviving condition with no damage or touchups! Dating mid 19th century. This example survives in the finest condition! Constructed with NO nails, only wooden pegs! A GREAT PIECE OF PENNSYLVANIA GERMAN STYLE FOLK ART. THIS IS A FANTASTIC EARLY PAINTED MINIATURE DOMED TOP BOX IN A VERY RARE ORIGINAL BLUE PAINTED SURFACE WITH VIBRANT TULIP DECORATION. AN INCREDIBLE EARLY 19TH CENTURY PENNSYLVANIA GERMAN STYLE PAINT DECORATED MINIATURE DOME TOP DOCUMENT BOX WITH A BRIGHT BLUE BASE WITH GREAT ORIGINAL PAINTED TULIPS IN POLYCHROME PAINT.
