Antique reverse glass foil painting of a vase of flowers. Frame measures 13″ x 15.5″ Reverse glass foil paintings are my absolute favorite. Especially this one with this old frame that was put together with square nails. Please ask any questions before purchasing as all sales are final.
BEAUTIFULLY executed, very unusual and apparently an old folk work. This is an old piece which originated from a lifelong Bedford, N. Resident, who is now in her late 90’s.
4 interesting examples, circa 1940s /1950s, each approximately 8″ x 11″, watercolor on paper, all have mounted, some matted. All in good condition, some light browning from age. All have some kind of markings / signatures / titles. Told these could be early Gzhel type of Russian art.
This is a beautiful old saw that has an original oil painted wilderness scene on the 48 blade. It is signed by the artist which is Mae Hampton and it is in great condition with no scratches on the painted scene and it has been well cared for. The entire saw measures 53″ in length and is just under 7″ wide at the largest end. The blades are all in very clean shape with no breaks on them and the largest round fitting on the saw handle shows Warranted Superior.
This is an unusual work of primitive art. It is a portrait of a lady with a kind smile, in red dress and a fancy hat. I have for sale a small antique painting. It is an oil painting on a solid block of wood with two holes in it.
