Rare Antique AAFA Early Folk Art Wood Rocking Horse Paint Decorated Crates

What a unique piece this piece was found in an old Barn In beautiful Pennsylvania. The rocking horse is in great condition with no damage but the horse does exhibit some minimal ware. The horse measures 34 1/2 long by 12 wide by 20 tall. The horse is one of a kind and was hand made of old wooden crates with nails and flat head screws along time ago this is a beautiful piece suitable for any antique collection. Aafa Folk Art Early Primitive Antique Old Wood Grey Original Paint Tote Tray

AAFA FOLK ART EARLY PRIMITIVE ANTIQUE OLD WOOD GREY ORIGINAL PAINT TOTE TRAY. Up for sale is this old antique tote with a handle. It’s wood and has splayed sides and a handle cut out on in the middle carry it by. It’s a low tray and has old grey paint with more paint remaining on the outside and a darker patine on the inside. You can see lots of wood color under the missing paint. On one end, near the handle, there’s a notch out of the end wood. Below the notch there’s another little hole. We’re not sure what these were for, perhaps a drain? , but they appear to have been intentional. There’s also a saw cut on this end where perhaps they started another notch and stopped. On the other end, right next to the handle there’s a slot. The nails are rusty but appear to all be round. There is a lot of edge wear, paint loss, nicks, scrapes, splatters, scratches, and dings. There is also a lot of iron spotting around the nails. On the bottom there is some green paint here and there. This looks to be something it may have been set in rather than paint that it was painted, but we’re not sure. All of these “issues” are just as you’d expect from an item of this age. 25.5 L x 12.25 W x 3.5 H to rim x 7.5 H to handle. It’s a very nice piece for your collection. Aafa Antique Folk Art Noahs Ark With 26 Animals German Great Original Paint

AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART NOAHS ARK WITH 26 ANIMALS GERMAN GREAT ORIGINAL PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful super cute Noah family and Noahs ark. Wow, what an amazing collection of Noahs family and animals along with this little ark! The ark is a yellow, orange, blue, green, grey and white with a reddish orange roof. The roof has a little dove with an olive branch painted on it. Its all hand painted. Theres a little band, just under the roof, painted in a pale pink, maroon and white color pattern. On side of the ark is slightly more faded than the other which is brighter and cleaner. The ark measures 13.5 long at the base and 8.5 long for just the ark part. Its about 3.5 wide and by 5.5 H. For size, the people and animals are. Little pink pig: 1-1/8 H. The hinges of the roof are little pieces of wire and you can lift up the roof and see inside. When the roof closes, theres a little wire loop that goes through a slot in the roof. But, it is the original roof and the ark appears to be all original. There are 6 adults and 1 child. Noah is missing and arm and the child is missing their forearm. The rest of the adults are in amazing condition! The Noah (blue) is fantastic, as his color is very good. He even has his staff. There are 26 very adorable animals with this ark. Theyve been well loved and played with over the years and as such, there are some missing body parts. Weve taken pictures of them, so be sure to look and see the pictures. The ones missing legs are laying down in the pictures because they dont stand on their own. There are 9 laying down. The others appear to be quite concerned about their friends. As youd expect, there are scuffs and paint loss, scrapes, scratches, nicks, dings, cracks edge wear, smudges and patina! Doll House Antique Folk Art Architectural Model Wood Ooak Green White Paint Aafa

DOLL HOUSE ANTIQUE FOLK ART ARCHITECTURAL MODEL WOOD OOAK GREEN WHITE PAINT AAFA. Up for sale is this wonderful old antique Primitive architectural building / model or doll house. This is a 2-story wood house that has a gable roof. It’s sort of a single story with an attic conversion because there’s a window in the attic space. The roof comes off as you can see in the pictures! We think the exterior and roof is made of asphalt shingles. The walls are green and the roof is red. The trim is wood and it’s painted white. The paint is all peeled, aged and worn as you can see in the pictures. The paint has a lot of age to it as you can see in the pictures. There are two windows on the upstairs / attic area, one on the front of the house and one at the back of the house. There’s also a front and back door and they work. At the front there’s a porch and two windows under the porch. The front door works but is not painted. There are also four windows on left side of the house and three on the right side of the house. All of the windows have glass in them which is unusual for an old house like this. On the front, the floor of the porch is a nice weathered wood. The house does have a lot of edgewear, scrapes, chips, crackle, alligatoring, nicks, grunge, fading here and there, scuffs and chips! The front gable of the roof has a piece of roofing missing as you can see in the pictures. The house measures 29″ D x 20″ W x 24 H. Thank you for looking at this item. Early Aafa Antique Folk Art Staved Wood Firkin Original Green Paint

EARLY AAFA ANTIQUE FOLK ART STAVED WOOD FIRKIN ORIGINAL GREEN PAINT. Up for sale is this wonderful old firkin!! Some people call them sap buckets, pantry boxes, flour buckets or grain measures!! This one has a nice worn deep green sides with black bands! This firkin measure is about. 10.75 in dia at bottom x 9.25 in dia at top and about. 10 h to the firkin and 11.25 h with knob. This firkin is a nice size and is big in character!! The firkin has three bands, one around the bottom, one in the middle and one band around the top of the firkin. Inside, it’s clean for its age and has some staining as you can see. There is not odor to it. The lid it heavy and has more paint loss than the sides of the firkin. The knob is white and is porcelain. The lid is heavy. The firkin has a bale wire and a wooden handle as you can see in the pictures. There’s a little wear spot under where the wood handle comes down on the outside of the green. On the outside is has some areas of paint loss and wear with dry paint, edgewear, streaks, paint loss, paint chips, nicks. There is a lot of edgewear around the bottom of the firkin.
