Painting features numerous trees with golden and orange foliage, characteristic of the fall season. A stream or river flows through the foreground, with water cascading over small rocks and a path in background. The overall color palette is dominated by warm tones, evoking the feeling of autumn and tranquility. Illegible signature on lower right corner. Canvas stretched over wood frame and secured with nails, tacks, and one staple.

Large Vtg Amate Bark Painting Mexico Folk Art Vibrant Colors Framed 2001. Frame measures 34″ x 22″. Painting illustrates in beautiful colors the rural life in a Mexican village. My mother in law bought this for us in 2001 as a gift and we don’t have the room for it anymore. Frame has some slight signs of wear but shows very well and back paper has a tear.

Large Old Vintage Hand Made Painted Wood Folk Art Primitive Whirligig. Made of scrap wood & metal with a figure of a man & a woman turning the whirligig mechanism when the wind blows. Still works as designed! Measures approximately 30″ long x 26-1/2″ high x 14 wide at the widest point. Condition is old with much weather use wear including losses to the wood & paint. Several newer metal pieces were apparently used over time to stabilize the whirligig (screws & metal rings). The clothing on the male & female figures must have been replaced several times over the years (made from rags). The top part is removable from the base (just lifts off). Still works fine if properly mounted outdoors. Please view all the pictures.
