Gorgeous antique hand painted Pichwai on fabric from India. The scene is wonderful! This piece is very large measuring approximately 44″ tall x 34″ wide. This piece is very very old and I laid it over a board for photographing. There is age related wear to the fabric, some very minor wear and tear to the edge as well as very light loss of color. An amazing painting with such historic details! The painting does have wear…. Loose canvas on some of the sides… From an antique lovers perspective…. It’s utterly fabulous! I’m dating this piece from 1779 to 1783 due to the clothing attire and painting details. The dress the lady is wearing dates to the late 1700’s and the soldiers uniform dates after 1779 when George Washington ordered soldiers of the Continental Army wear blue coats. The red trim on the uniform and the windmill in the background make me think Virginia BUT…. This attire was worn in a few other states as well. The couples cheery faces and the entire piece will bring a smile to your face! It’s delicate yet perfectly displayable. It could be preserved in a frame or however you see fit. It’s a lovely piece any collector of period paintings…. Or war memorabilia will cherish! Please see all of the photos and judge the type and condition for yourself. Antique folk art hanging wall cupboard, early crusty paint (Santos display)

An base salmon, and and overlying deep green/blue. Measuring 20 3/4″ h x 16 3/4″ w x 9 deep, the condition of the painted surface is illustrated by the two images in picture #6. She is not however without some apologies. Most importantly, the base trim on both sides is replaced… See my last picture. The glass is also a replacement and may have originally held a mirror. There is also the shadow of a missing block at the top board, but what purpose that served is unknown. Since there is no interior shelf (and there never has been), it is possible that this cupboard was originally intended to display a Mexican Santos.. But that’s merely speculation on my part. Antique Wood Carousel Style Rocking Horse Folk Art Hand Painted Leather Toy VTG

Offering this beautiful old folk art wooden horse. It is styled in the way of an antique carousel horse but is more of a traditional rocking horse size. There are some small holes on the bottom, presumably from posts, and I have a handful of metal and wood pieces (handles and stirrups, presumably), but no base. The saddle parts are felt, the ears and reins are leather, and the mane and tail are fine yarn. It has age-related wear as shown including splits in the wood where the legs meet the main body of the horse, spotting on the legs/flanks, and natural age-related deterioration to the felt. This displays very handsomely as-is but could also make a nice restoration project. Great colors for use as holiday decor! Measures about 19″ long across the body, 35″ long from the front to back hooves, and 20 tall.
